Works great, a little tricky to setup for Alexa
I have several outlet switches that work with Alexa but it has been a while since I set them up. I use the Smart Life app with 2 of them so I figured this outlet would fit right in. First off the written instructions assume you have nothing installed so most of the information is how to install the Smart Life and Alexa apps. For the Smart Life app to detect the device, the outlet's 2 LEDs need to be blinking blue. To achieve the blue blink, press the outlet's power button twice to turn them blue, then hold the button down until they blink. This is the reset procedure. In the Smart Life app you can easily see how to assign a name to the device (pencil in upper right corner, see photo). The Alexa app quickly found that name (Outlet), but you can only turn both AC outlets on or off with that name. To rename each outlet you have to hold you finger down on the button/name (circled in photo). That may be standard for the app or iOS, but it took me some fumbling to figure it out. After that I went to the Alexa app and had it search for new devices and it found the 2 individual AC outlets. I told it to search for an outlet device and for manufacturer I selected "Other".It wasn't a 10 minute setup, but it was under an hour. Hopefully these details will save some people time.

Hand free device for house
Very good product! It’s amazing. So glad I had bought this one. It’s easy to control electric devices from your Smartphone. Hand free to turn on or off your lamp when you need it. I always go out at night. I don’t like keep the light on in front of my house. So I bought this smart plug, when I home I just turn the light on from my phone. It is such a good helper you deserve to have!

I want more!
I ordered this to power my Christmas tree on and off instead of knocking ornaments off each time I reached around to the outlet. It has worked perfectly and I’m already thinking of ways to use it after taking the tree down. It’s super convenient.

Great smart multi plug!
This is a really nice smart plug with multiple plugs and usb. It’s a really nice convienence with having the usb built in. Add in the ability to name each outlet so that it can be controlled by name with Alexa or google and you can’t go wrong! The only thing is to remember the usb are not independently controlled meaning they are always on.Once received I started the TuyaSmart app and followed the instructions in it to connect a new device which did not connect right away the first time. After it timed out, I started the process again but touched my phone to the plug and then it connected instantly. Not really sure that had anything to do with it though. All in all it’s a great device for the price and added control for a smart home. I am getting a few more!

Took some time and reconfiguring my wifi
At first I had a lot of issues trying to get it to connect. Turns out my wifi wasn't automatically switching to 2.4 therefore it wasn't connecting to the switch. Finally got it all figured out. It works. Although I do have a few issues with it. You can hear it switch on and off. I thought that was weird. Not sure why it's got an audible sound. Also, when I ask Alexa to turn it off or on, it takes it a bit to do it. Not sure why it takes so long for it to figure it out. It does what I want it to, just needs some improvements.

Great product. Great price
Works great and you get 2 independently controlled outlets for the price of one. Bought 2 more after the first one I bought. Recommended

Works like a charm after a quick setup
Currently using this outlet for our Christmas Tree lights. Setup was quick and easy. Downloaded the app, added the device to Google Home, and now we simply say "Hey Google, turn off the Christmas Tree" when headed out the door or to bed, and there's no fumbling behind the thing to make it so. Quality product!
