It’s a good concept but the controller dosent work unless you inches away. And the app keeps crashing

I bought 2 of these. Both worked great. They were very easy to use, and the app was great! The app made setup very simple to get it onto my Wi-Fi network, and I did not run into any issues.Used with RGBWW light strip which worked perfectly.The colors in the app were way off from what they actually looked like, but changing the RGB values or just moving your finger around the circle you could always end up getting to the colors you wanted. I actually figure that is probably an issue with my light strip and the led's it uses and not the controllers fault though.

With the controller worked perfectly fine, if we get to the wifi connection is a totally different story

For the money it's absolutely fantastic. Keep in mind its limited by the power adapter its plugged into, but it atleast says up to 192watts on the device. I have a 400watt plugged into it so, seems to work great for the 10 feet I have, I plan to add another 50~70 feet aswell, which should work. The app they include to control it is pretty sick too, very simple and easy to scroll through colors. Also, my rgb strip is not WRGB, but the led strip still turns white without the dedicated white LEDs, just the standard RGB 5050 is what I used. Only thing I haven't done is connect it to Alexa, which I plan to do. Seems worth it for such a cheap price it really did everything I wanted it to.

Before you buy this useless junk, go to the app store and look at reviews for "Magic Home" which is the app this product depends on.It is very likely you will never be able to connect this device to wifi, meaning you will have no control from your phone or ability to make custom colors or animation patterns. You will only have the basic IR remote control functions.The app has been broken for over a year, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THIS CONTROLLER without it.

Its a great little device and the software is amazing ive had multiple led strips and these are a must have but what the heck? You dont say that its 5 pins i dont have all colors now because most every led strip ive seen is 4 pins!

This is a great controller when it works--it's a wonderful value for the money you're spending, and it makes it easier to have smart lighting on a dime. That said, every now and then it does disconnect from wifi, even when it's not far from my wifi router. It's not a constant thing, just something annoying that happens every once in a while. Even still, if you're looking for a smart solution for accent lighting and you don't want to spend top dollar on one of the big companies, definitely get this--the small glitches are far outweighed by the value you're getting here.
