Solid, buy the foot pedal
Does what it needs to. Really need a foot pedal to fish with... Yes, the hand remote works, but difficult to fish and control where you're going. The GPS feature is solid, love using it, but being nimble with my movement, I've found to be more important. Buy the foot pedal, you'll be happy you did.

Worth every penny!
You know when you buy something and hope it is as good as every review says it is? Well, this trolling motor is just that. I installed it in just a few minutes on my 22 ft Fish and Cruise pontoon. I took it to the lake and synced the gps with my Andriod phone and pressed the anchor button. We sat in relatively the same spot whole the kids swam for over 45 minutes. Worth it for just that option in my opinion. Still have to try out the GPS routing, but so far, this product has exceeded my expectations (esp for the price...) I read the problems with Helmsman app and Android. I had no issues. Remember, the trolling motor has to get the GPS signal before the app will work.

Buyer Beware
The media could not be loaded. I have owned this motor for 6 months and it has not worked right since I got it. The spotlock feature requires you to use a smart phone. Unfortunately the cell phone keeps disconnecting. After only three uses the motor started shutting off after 5 seconds and beeps. Communication with the company is by email only. After several emails ND contacting Amazon customer support I got the company to diagnose the problem via a video I sent them. They sent me a part that I had to install myself and the same problem still exists. Now I can't get the company to respond. My advice is stay away from this company.

Good value, but I’m a little concerned about service if it’s ever needed.
Wow! Great motor for the money. Super lite-weight and the anchor feature is GREAT! That was the main reason I made this purchase. Plenty of power and batter life on a single 12v battery. The only negatives I can say is that it beeps each time you press a button on the wireless remote and the anchor feature is only activated from the app on my phone.

Well Built, Quality Materials, Great Trolling Motor (Updated Review Oct-2019)
I'm updating this review after using the TM for a full year now. Update is at end of the original review.I replaced my Minn Kota PowerDrive (Very dissatisfied with it) that was less than 3 months old, with the Haswing Anchor Control GPS 54" Shaft 55lbs TROLLING Motor Bow Mount Wireless Remote.I couldn't be happier. The deployment/retrieval system is 10x better then the PowerDrive's. Simply step on the foot pedal and it slide up and down into the water, same to retrieve it. step on pedal and lightly left on motor and it locks into the cradle . The electric steering motor is a lot quieter then the Minn Kota's and I mean A LOT. The remote is simple and easy to use, along with the Haswing Helmsman Navigator App you download to your smartphone from either iTunes of Google Play Store for free. Overall it's a great trolling motor that has no problems competing with, or in my case out performing the Big 2 (Minn Kota and Motor Guide)Updated Review. After having it mounted on my boat for a year now, my opinion has not changed about the quality of this trolling motor. And it still out proforms my Minn Kota PowerDrive V2 in all areas that I listed above. If you bass fish as I do, then you will want to buy the wireless foot controller, because using the remote basically turns it into a hand control trolling motor. There are a couple of things that could be improved with software/firmware for the operation of the trolling motor and the advance features like achor/spot-loc waypoints, routes. First one is making the beeping noise every time you input a control command from either the remote of foot controller a option that can be turned off in the Helmsmen App. I find the beeps annoying. The second thing would be to put a Anchor-Loc button on both types of controllers. Instead of having to pair your cell phone to the trolling motor and engaging it from within the Helmsmen App.The last thing that you need to know is that it comes with a 3-Blade "Power Prop". So if you fish a lot of grass you will need to put on a 2-Blade "Weedless Prop".But I still would, and do recommend this trolling motor to anyone who is looking for a high quality, well built trolling motor that will stand up to the hard use from being used on the water 4-5 days a week bass fisherman. I've fished tournaments in Oklahoma so a lot of time its very windy, I've yet killed my battery after 8 hours of fishing with it fighting the wind all day (Never even notice any power loss at end of day). I've ran into everything from stumps,, rocks, sandbars, to a few things I never figured out what I hit, and still work as if it was brand new. The shaff will bend and flex back as its made from "unbreakable composite" material.
