Plantronics Savi 740 Wireless Headset System for Unified Communication (Renewed)

This was the second refurbished Plantronics Headset System we've ordered. The set up is super easy and it works very well. This second order, however the receiver notch was hanging on by a plastic "thread" and no matter how careful I was to attach it to the headset band, it snapped. I texted Matt right away, who had hand written a note on the order form asking to text if there was any issues or anything missed. I explained the issue of the broken notch and attached photos of the broken pieces. Matt was great, he assured me that I didn't have to return the whole system, and he said he would get a replacement out right away. The system is great and works well for what we need, it comes with the over the ear attachment and the headset attachment, which some sets do not. I'd recommend this set if you're looking for a decent refurbished headset system.

I had to give this to my coworker because I couldn't use this with my phone because too many modems are near my office and it was causing interference. But it worked great on my co-workers phone because she was far enough away so I could not review the product sufficiently.

I have been using this product for years. I recently changed jobs and would only purchase Plantronics Savi to use. It is reliable, easy to install, works with my computer, soft phone and cell phone. The only con is at night I turn off the power and the battery needs to be charged for about half an hour or so in the morning to last. If I didn't turn off the power this wouldn't be an issue. I have also bought two more for our staff, so I definitely recommend it.

This was the second set of the Savi 720 I purchased as the battery would not charge on the first set. The first set did connect to the computer and to a cell phone but the second set would not connect to anything and produce the needed audio. I have returned both sets and went to a Savi 8210 instead. The 8210 does work well with both cell phone and a Toshiba phoneset, while not connecting to the thin client computer at work where I cannot install any software or drivers. My suggestion is to move up to the 8210 as it is worth the additional cost and actually works.

Ordered this for work from home. The only issue I had was the battery life but I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me a replacement battery. Customer service is phenomenal. Sound quality is amazing, very easy to connect, fit is perfect, and the cost was amazingly reasonable. Would definitely recommend for others that work remotely.

If you already have a plantronics W740 that may have broke and you're wanting to replace it, but don't need all the parts or instructions because you have them from your original... then this may be an option for you. You're still taking a chance of whether it's going to work or not, which mine didn't. If you're wanting a plantronics w740 that has everything in the box from when it was new, then DON'T buy renewed. What you see in my pic is what you'll get: base, charger, and headset with one earbud. No connecting cables to connect to your phone or computer. No instructions. No headset band or neck attachment. So if you already have this headset and just need to replace the base, then you're good, but if you don't, you will be paying $25-$50 to get the connecting cords.

My refurbished unit worked well for the two things I needed; Bluetooth to cell phone, and connected to my office phone. I have not tried the computer. I did not receive the Headset Fit Kit, but that was under $20.00. The two main drawback are; 1) No matter what I do, the initial dial tone is much too loud. But that is probably a phone issue, not a headset issute. 2) The earpieces do not fit well. They are painful, they fall out of my ear, no size fits. They appear to be proprietary to Plantronics, so there are very few aftermarket options. The headset is fine for an hour or two at a time, but I could not imagine wearing one all date.

Ordered 2 of these.. both were missing the USB cable and an instruction manual. Waste of time and money! I've been trying to get this to work for a while now.. and what I find is every other headset I own works, except for this.
