OK there are many reviews on these scissors not cutting but there are also 5 star reviews too. So I thought for the money these would be great. Boy was I wrong! First time I tried to use the curved scissors and they wouldn't cut. So tried the other pair of curved ones, they would cut but was gaping the coat of my poodle's topknot. Not a professional groomer but have had poodles for nearly 40 yrs. and been grooming my own since the '90s. I usually buy Miller Forge Curved Scissors but when I saw these, I thought ok I'll try them. Should have paid closer attention to the 1 star reviews. Guess I thought I would get some that I could rate 5 stars, NOT. Glad I can return them. Now I have to try to find another brand. Save your money so you can buy some that function better than these.

These shears are extremely sharp and work well when others could not get through my dogs hair. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Do not hesitate to order and try for yourself!

I love the whole package of this product. All of the shears are nice and sharp. Easy to handle. No fatigue from using them. Also love the comb. The case is very nice. I'm thoroughly enjoying them. I purchased them because of a review from another purchaser.The price is was also reasonable compared to others.

After doing a lot of research, I decided to buy this as it was in my budget and I am very impressed, I have golden retriever who needs constant grooming and love this scissors. They are well made, as described, have used for months now, and so far it cuts like I used the 1st day. I would definitely recommend this product to pet parents.

They're gorgeous, pretty light, and clip smoothly. There is a noticeable roughness on one of the scissors (a little more upset about this one) and there's really no good place for the comb like there is for the scissors (which I understood would happen but it's still annoying and less upsetting) in the leather case, but neither really impacts their ability to cut or comb. I even nicked myself accidentally little just from the thinning scissors. Despite this I think the scissors & comb themselves are worth it.You can get a Top Paw grooming comb from PetSmart (online) for $10.49, Top Paw thinning shears for $14.99, and Top Paw straight scissors for $14.99 coming to a total of 40 bucks and change. That cost more than this kit (which aren't bad quality items IMHO), with less items.

I love the look and feel of these scissors. They are very sharp so be careful! I cut my patients ear and she needed stitches! Its ok though, the owner continues to use me. Just be careful because they are very sharp. So far so good! The case they come in is cheap looking and feeling but the scissors themselves are worth the money

Nice quality scissors and comb in an attractive leather case. The scissors are a bit heavy and the finger holes are a snug fit if you wear a large glove size. Otherwise, this is a very nice kit.

Well they are pretty just not very high quality. After having a very good and pricey pair, these leave a lot to be desired. If I had never owned the other pair I probably would have been ok with these. But I expected that going in. You get what you pay for and I just didn’t have $300+ for scissors right now.
