Warpia SWP800 Plug and View USB 3.0 to DVI/VGA External Graphics Adapter

I used this to upgrade my Toshiba Satellite notebook to use with a large screen LCD monitor. While the notebook's built-in HDMI facility worked, the resolution that HDMI provides is not sufficient for my needs. I am no able to run at 1920x1200, which is fine.

I received these items brand new. Out of the 4 I ordered 1 usb 3.0 cable worked fine with out it going in and out every 5 seconds. I upgraded the the usb 3.0 cable to the gold and have not had a issue with the screen cutting in and out. I purchased 8 of these. I use one at work, my girlfriend uses one at work, I use 4 at home (yep, I use 4 monitors at home), and my girlfriend uses one at home. These things work great. I am completely impressed and can't believe how well they work. I rarely leave glowing feedback, but this product deserves it.On a side note, I also purchased the Warpia SWP240 dock (from Walmart since it was cheaper there) and that thing works like a champ. I have my four Warpia SWP800 USB display adapters plugged into it at home. So when I want to work from home, I simply plug ONE USB 3.0 connection into my laptop, wait about 10 seconds for the USB display adapters to activate, and I'm good to go with my four monitor setup.On another side note, If you're interested in an inexpensive 4 monitor setup, check out the Vivo STAND-V004. It's super inexpensive and very sturdy.

Performs exactly as advertised. Im using this to get a third external monitor out of my Macbook Pro (retina). Since this uses DisplayLink drivers and software, they are currently having issues with OS X 10.10 Yosemite. When attempting to use the dock on monitor powered by this adapter, it is extremely sluggish and non-respoinsive. Display Link are currently addressing this and have a very active support community looking to get this fixed, however, this seems to be a problem with OS X not the drivers. On the plus side, the monitor does work 100%, just some minor issues like the dock and menu bar transparency.

Driver sometimes does not work out of sleep mode. When it works, it works great!

I don't recommend this item. I am experiencing heavy lag on my second monitor and I'm only using one external monitor. I can't watch any kind of video in full screen mode, because the lag is unbearable. When I connect it with a different adapter, it's working great, so it must be that this adapter just sucks.

Very pleased with this product! I can now run 3 external monitors from my laptop at work. A setup of 1920x1080 - 1920x1200 - 1920x1080, where the Warpia screen being the first one mentioned.The setup was almost Plug'n'Play, only a small driver file needed to be installed and then the screen showed up in windows screen settings next to my other two screens.

Well I almost never give 5 stars as to me that means something superb but as a first reviewer I have to be nice.It is excellent. Set up a breeze and now I have three monitors and makes life a LOT easier.I have had this about three weeks now and zero problems.Bottom line great product based on my experience.
