These devices worked as expected. However, the description did not explicitly state that the HC05 technology does not work with apple iOS. Lesson learned on my part.

The product was very easy to use. Doesn’t feel cheaply built. There aren’t instructions included but they are very easy to find online on how to configure them. I have been using them for about 3 months and haven’t had any issues yet.

If you have done any research on these modules you will know that they use serial communications to talk with the connected microcontroller. You will also know that to use the modules you need to configure their settings. I wanted to use the two I purchased in this bundle to communicate with one another and that requires putting one in master mode and the other in slave mode. I wired up the modules to my Arduino Mega using a resistor voltage divider but when sending commands through the serial monitor, there has been no response. I am not sure if it is just the modules I was sent are faulty but beware that you may have issues. The only redeemer is that it periodically connects to the Bluetooth on android devices but since that is not the application I am looking to use them in, the modules have been a bust.
