Hamilton Mills Mocha Swirl Coffee Pods, Compatible with 2.0 Keurig K-Cup Brewer, 40 Count

I've been in search of a mocha COFFEE kcup for a while now. At first I had one.... Dunkin Donuts Mocha was amazing. But alas, it was limited edition and is no longer available as of the date of this review. Then I tried Cafe Escapes Mocha. Ugh. It's a drink mix in a k-cup... not actual coffee. I also tried a few other 'mocha' coffees that had the term mocha in the name mixed with other flavors (like nut). Not quite what I was looking for.Then I came upon this! I was a bit leary at first since I've never heard of Hamilton Mills (maybe I'm sheltered?)... and it seemed like it should be literal coffee and not a gas-station-mix-wannabe-coffee. It is. This does have actual coffee in it. I can also brew it at the extra-large Keurig setting without it being watered down. However, the mix of chocolate to coffee is probably 50/50. I'm guessing here. I taste the coffee. I taste the mocha/chocolate. But I like my coffee stronger. I love my dark roasts... but flavored medium roasts are okay when I'm in the mood, as well. This however is a rather weak coffee. I'd rate it as a 'light blend'.... the mocha in it saves it. Not nearly as bad as a 'mix' (non-coffee) like the Cafe Escapes Mocha. But this still leaves me searching for my mocha holy grail.So for anyone who like lighter blends of coffee, this would probably be great.For me? It's so-so. I give it 4 stars because there isn't anything wrong with. It's just not quiteeeeee what I'm looking for. Close. But no cigar.

I am not a coffee snob who can only have an extremely specific brand or blend to be happy. If you are, you probably should think twice before ordering anything other than your preferred K-Cup, but if you are open-minded, the Hamilton Mills variety pack is an excellent option. Enclosed in the 40-count box are a variety of blends which vary from good to excellent. I like to have decaf in the house and there were a few of their Morning Roast Decaf K-Cups included which I appreciated, though if you want no decaf in your variety pack, you might want to look elsewhere.I appreciated the smoothness of the Cape Cod Blend, Hamilton House, and Heritage Blend most, all of which are full of flavor but not bitter in the least. I am not a fan of most flavored coffee, but here the flavors are natural and subtle enough to be enjoyable (and they smell great.) I was particularly dubious about Toasted Cinnamon, but actually enjoyed that one a great deal. The only one I was not crazy about was Vanilla Bean, which both smelled and tasted a bit artificial to me (though it wasn't pronounced enough to prevent me from drinking it or reordering the variety pack.) Hamilton Mills makes very good coffee (better than many of the big names in my opinion) at an excellent price: I have reordered this variety pack and keep coming back to this assortment because the taste is excellent and the value is unbeatable.

**FEB 9, 2017 UPDATE**My review was complaining about Hamilton Mills K cups not working in my Keurig2. I see in their product description that they do not work for Keurig2, so I am griping about the wrong people here. I have to say past of my reason for being upset is that Hamilton Milles makes 3 varieties that I really liked - Hamilton House Blend, Morning Roast and Heritage Blend. I am giving them the 5 stars they deserve, because all 3 of these varieties are keepers, I guess no pun intended, they were so good.***ORIGINAL REVIEW***I bought 3 boxes of 40 cups and they do not work in my Keurig 2. They worked ok in my older Kuerig but not this one. Is there a newer product that works with the new Keurig? I am stuck with around 50 of these that I cannot use. Every now and then I try again to use them, but they just do not work.All of the ones that I have bought to work with my new Keurig say "Keurig Hot". Does that have to be there, do you have a product "Hamilton Mills Hot"?I would love to get some more of this brand, but would want a guarantee directly from someone with Hamilton Mills that they will specifically work in Keurig 2. Is there any way I could trade these in for a newer product?I would give 5 stars if they would work.

We just received, from Amazon, one box with this variety pack of 40 Hamilton Mills single serve coffees. I received 5 of each of the coffees illustrated. 15 are flavored (5 toasted cinnamon flavored, 5 vanilla bean flavored, and 5 mocha swirl), 5 are dark (Heritage Blend), 5 are light (Morning Roast), 10 are medium roast (5 Cape Cod Roast and 5 Hamilton House Blend), and 5 are light roast decaf (Morning Roast Decaf). Three of the coffee containers are a little dented, but not severely, and a few of the tops are slightly pushed in, but not severely. None had a punctured container, so the coffee is not effected. My husband made one using our Keurig 2.0 and said that the coffee tasted fine. There is no expiration date provided, but coffee lasts a long time and each one is well-sealed, so I'm not concerned. This variety pack enables sampling different coffees at a good price, so it is a good value. The box label states that it may contain one or more of any of the following, and then lists all of the coffees in the illustration, thus it is possible that someone ordering this value pack will get an uneven assortment of coffee roasts.

I had been searching for a good cinnamon coffee that agreed with my system for a long time... Then I stumbled across this one at someone's house and tried it... I fell in love with it!!... It has a great cinnamon flavor, but it's not overpowering... I got hooked immediately on it & have been ever since... The only downfall I have found with it is, it's availability... Every time I go to reorder it, it takes a long time for it to be available again... If they could get that issue corrected, then I'd have zero to complain about with this coffee lol
