Classic Mythology
I always get stuck in crosswords and quizzes on the mythology questions. This book will help me I'm sure. Not too deep and complicated but has all the best know tales. I'm very pleased with it. Good quality and lovely pictures and charts too. I would recommend this book.

So interesting!
I wasn't taught about the Greek myths when I went to School and I always found the stories so interesting. I never knew the answers when I was watching quizzes of any kind and had commented on this to my family. So I was delighted when my brother gave me a copy of this book. It really is "Everything you ever wanted to know about Classic Mythology... but never dared to ask"!!!

this book was exactly what my husband wanted. went to the library first and this was one of the very little they had on the subject. decided to buy rather than borrow. he has spent many hours so far reading and digesting the information. book arrived in no time at all - before the stated delivery time. very pleased.

Trusty little guide book
A great buy! This book offers a neatly designed, comprehensive outline of mythological genealogy that is both easy to follow and enjoyable to read. It is very much like a text book, combining concise descriptions of gods and goddesses with photos of relevant art work and, at the top of each page, a family tree for easy reference. The layout presents the information in a way that is not so dense that it becomes boring. A trusty little guide book, this is a stepping stone into the world of mythology - a basis for more in-depth research.

I teach Classical Mythology at a local college, and this makes a useful ready-reference. It keeps Greek and Roman incarnations of the deities and myths clearly distinct, which I appreciate, but I especially like the reprints of the beautiful art works that have illustrated classical myths throughout history. The paper is heavy weight, and the colors are vibrant. It's a fine little book for the money.
