Scratch & Solve Hangman, No. 1 Paperback – September 1, 2005

This series of hangman games is great fun. While it can be played without additional players, it can be adapted so that players can take turns. I use these books with my students and they are always ready to play it. It is useful for reinforcing spelling patterns, vocabulary and deductive reasoning.

It works correctly my 5 year old grandson love the game I have been playing scratch and solve for over 20 yrs

This is helping my one problem reader to sound out and spell. Highly recommend it. Plus helps with spelling. I've ordered two and Im ready to get another one in the series.

These are a fun little collection of those games you used to play on napkins in a restaurant when you were bored! Trust me, these are NOT just for kids. It takes a lot of thinking on some of these. I love scratch off games that allow a single person to play something that used to take two people. It's small size works well in purses.

Too bad this did not perform Our granddaughter AND my husband nor I can scratch off the puzzle pieces. Had another book that worked well but this one defeats the purpose of figuring out letters and solving for a word. Don’t waste your money.

This is a wonderful book for a child to spend hours on improving spelling and learning new words.

Unfortunately this item was completely defective!! I’ve purchased other scratch off hangman’s before that have been great however the bubbles wouldNot scratch off no matter what I used (coin, pen tip, other tools) I thought one page may have not been working but it appears that every page is unusable. I work with children and am so disappointed - as they were too when they couldn’t play the game. May have been sold a bad book but either way, products should be tested prior to selling them!!

good to do with the grandkids

Our five year old really enjoys doing these. Great for party bags / stocking fillers.

Love the concept of this. The puzzles were fairly easy and not frustrating.

This is fun. My daughter loves it when we travel.
