The batteries last forever too. The only issues I've ever had is with a particular laptop or computer needing software updates, which always fixed the issue (and I use them on USB 3 ports - the only ports avail on modern computers). The unifying receiver is awesome, and I actually only use one in my laptop, having paired both sets to it, as I take the laptop back and forth between work and home seamlessly. I will be buying this 545 as replacement for work, because a contractor broke one of the angle adjustment legs on the keyboard.
