Having now installed my new battery (not a task for the faint hearted!) I must point out the failings of this kit.Major point there is not a tri-lobe screwdriver included in the kit so without it the screws holding the battery connector plate are impossible to remove using the tools in the kit (I am an engineer by trade and had alternatives available), you will need to purchase something like the image attached.Other points:Due to the glue used to waterproof the phone it is next to impossible to remove the screen with anything plastic (with or without hair drier heat), look on the internet and use a thin metal tool, fine model knife blade etc and start at the base next to the button.NB: Phone will no longer be 'water proof' after reassembly.Ease base and both sides of the screen then pull back slightly as screen is hooked under lid at the top, the rest of the instructions seem clear and good.I am glad to say the my phone is now charging and back to life but I cannot comment on battery life/capacity as yet!

Lovely looking box and battery. clearly a lot of thought went into the marketing. The problem is when installing it. Upon opening the iPhone 7, there are 3 types of screws - 5 star, 4star and 3 star. The screw drivers provided are a small 5 star, a large 5 star and a 4 star. If I did not have my own tools, I would not have been able to complete this. In addition, it does not come with a replacement waterproof band, so when you take the screen off, you will lose the waterproof layer it offers. In addition, the plectrum is too thick to squeeze between the screen and frame, so you have to use the spludger.The instructions are very clear, but do not reflect the correct tools. So overall, a nice battery, but not worth the extra price, just because it was pretty, so I am disappointed. Currently waiting for the battery to fully charge before I test it's life and update this review.

I’ve not been able to replace the battery as yet, hence the 3 stars. I’ve paid premium for this item and to be honest expected the tools supplied to do the job. However, with the drivers included I was unable to remove the battery cover and have had to purchase an additional screwdriver. I understand the premium may be for the battery itself, which I’m hoping is the case, but for the price I expected all tools required to be included. Excellent product packaging though.

I love this as a purchase, it is good quality, well priced, and so extremely efficient it makes something that's quite complex seem almost easy! It's the type of purchase that is satisfying because it is complete and every part of it feels like good quality and value for money - the packaging, the kit, the battery, even the instructions, leave nothing to chance and I really appreciate that. It makes me feel that this is a really well thought out quality product. I would look for this manufacturer in future.

Nice packaging but cheap tools and poor product. Fitted to iPhone 7 when original was at 85%. Hasn’t improved battery life and has impacted the batter monitor which now say Service. It works but is not worth the extra ££. Could’ve got one at half the price that did the same - poor - job.

I've been using for two 4 months and battery has expanded and pushing my screen off my iPhone any help with the warentee

Clear instructions, good quality tools. The battery has charged quickly and appears to be holding its charge (must admit i have only used it today) but much better than the old, original one
