I'm a big guy, and I tend to move a lot. Swiveling, getting up and down, adjusting my legs, hips, etc. I wanted something that would be nice and sturdy. I can't have it rattling, or creaking, or falling apart inside a year.After assembling this and using it for the last couple of months I can say that the stool is great. Feels very sturdy. The seat cushion is about as comfy as you'd expect from a shop stool.
