Just to clarify, I don't have a hernia. I work out in the gym often and I wanted extra support for my lower abdomen. I found this particular item and it appealed to me. I decided to wear it on my next work out. I was surprised how much more support I got especially in attempting heavy lifts. Needless to say, I wear it now every time I go to the gym.At first it was somewhat uncomfortable but I got used it so wearing this item is no big deal.If you want to add some extra protection against the possibility of developing a hernia, this item will help. I highly recommend it.

Purchased for my father to wear while waiting for groin surgery date and it helped him be up and active with it.

I bought this hernia belt as a backup belt to my other one, which I had for awhile now. However, I made it my main belt. The design is comfortable and it gives really good support for my left inguinal hernia. The only thing I had to do was take the soft pads from my old belt and replace the new pads in the new belt with those, because the new pads seemed a little hard. Now that might not be a problem for everyone, as it still gives support, but I prefer softer pads.

This belt saved me from alot of pain and discomfort. I was scheduled for surgery to have my hernia repaired but it was a few weeks before the operation and I was in pain and very uncomfortable. I purchased this product through Amazon and was very pleased with the support it provided while I awaited my date with the surgeon. Thumbs up!

Not very comfortable, especially for long time wearing. Feel very tight even though it’s my size.

My wife bought me a full hurina brace from the local health supply store and paid $80 for something I had a hard time warning at work. This is more comfortable " except for the straps creap up" but worth it to be able to use the bathroom.

Highly recommend more comfortable than cheaper models....does for me what others fail to do...great item..

Glad I went with this slightly more expensive belt, it's very high quality and super comfortable. I've been nursing an inguinal hernia the size of an egg since June 2020 and was waiting for surgery to be scheduled... by November it started to become painful, especially in the evenings at the end of the day so I decided to get this belt. It was perfect, pain disappeared within 3 days and fits great, with the support and pressure needed exactly on my inguinal hernia buldge. It's also very comfortable, I don't even notice it after 15 minutes of putting it on. I wear a size 34 - 36 pant and the Large size fits perfectly. Very happy I got this, surgery is next week and I've had zero pain since I started using it.A funny quirk I found is this easier wear "inside out" with the straps showing on the outside of the belt instead of inside like in the photos. A friend of mine also got this belt after I recommended it to him and he did the exact same thing. It's way easier to peel off straps to go to the bathroom or just adjust it. Not really sure why you would wear it like in the photos.Bottom line, the belt has been worn for almost 3 months now every day for 12 hours a day and it's still in perfect shape. Highly recommend it.
