TimeGuard WEATHERPROOF IP66 OUTDOOR CCTV 2 WAY GANG SOCKET BOX

This box is housing a double mains socket at roof level on my garage to power a security light and a CCTV camera. It's west facing which is where the bad weather comes from here. I used the appropriate cable entry grommets and appropriate cable. No problems.The cable entry knock-outs are pretty tough to remove. I (very carefully) used a Stanley knife.

I needed a waterproof box to plug a WiFi extender into.I could not find any external sockets deep enough to be able to shut the cover so went for this.Good quality box and had a cut out which I used to fit a cable compression gland for the power to the socket.Good value for money.,

This has just failed miserably. My circuit breaker was tripping all if a sudden, after much stress and investigation I eventually went to 1 of my 2 boxes to find about an 1" and 1/2 full of water inside one! Its damaged my expensive outdoor lights now, I am not a happy bunny, please be aware of this item it could end up killing you!
