I have this affixed in my car, and so far just its presence has kept my dog in the back seat, but the hooks(mechanism) for the bottom straps will have to be amended ("hacked") somehow. The top straps are easy to affix to the headrests, but the bottom straps are the problem. I affixed to the car seat 'adjustment rails', but they keep popping off. This needs to be re-designed with longer elastic and a MUCH better hooking mechanism for the bottom straps.

Update: so while the barrier did not work for my vehicle, the customer service of this company is outstanding. They promptly reached out to try and correct the situation. They sent me a new leash which I love. While the original product did not work, I applaude the kindness and caring of this companyThe barrier only works for older vehicles. Ensure you have a wire frame accessible under your car before buying

So went to go install this in my vehicle and the connectors broke causing the band to snap my hands. Do not purchase this thing is very cheap and apparently dangerous.

Good quality and I’m very happy with this product.
