Great for youth or adult
This is a great bag to practice on without having to find a support to hang a bag from.It is heavy enough for some serious practice. This was a good deal for this Century bag

Great value
This is a solid bag, easy to use. I put 250 pounds of play sand 8n mine, and the time it takes to put it in is my only complaint. Would recommend

Solid, Sturdy and can take a punch! (Or kick)
I bought this model to be flexible for all the family to use, yet heavy enough it can take a punch or kick without having to chase it around. It fit that bill. Iβm a bigger guy, 5β10β 280. Yes it is possible to smash this bag and move it. But for good solid hit and kicks in a cardio or in martial arts practice it stays where it should.I did opt to fill mine with 250lbs of playground sand, which is washed and dried. This keeps it planted. But if you need to move it into position to practice on, the full weight might be too much for some people.I would like to see Century make target sleeves for this wider bag. I opted to purchase good vinyl stickers to add targets to the bag.

husband really likes it
took a LONG time to get the sand in the tiny hole, but once set-up, it worked pretty well. Didn't want to spend the $400+ on one of the better larger ones, but this was pretty good. looks and feels like it will take a beating for a long time as well. He says when he does some harder combos on it, the top does kind of come apart a bit, but otherwise it holds up perfectly. Definitely not a bad value

Wide and well-padded.
My Wavemaster arrived early and in perfect condition. Because of its girth, it doesn't tip over as easily as the smaller models, and, if you mix in a little dense sand with the water, it won't slide as much, either. You could certainly fill it with sand or with stones only, but be careful not to exceed the weight capacity specified in the owner's manual (apart from making it difficult and dangerous to roll the Wavemaster on the edge of its base or to un-fill the base later, this could warp the plastic and cause other damage). As others have reported, the padding seems a little suspect; you can already tell where I've been aiming my sharpest punches and kicks because the padding has started to sag a little bit in those spots. However, it doesn't feel like those spots are going to fray or get too thin to strike any time soon. If anything, I would say that the padding is too forgiving... my bare knuckles feel so pampered that I've resorted to doing knuckle pushups on a hardwood floor as a warm-up exercise before practicing on the Wavemaster. I should add, on a related note, that I bought this Wavemaster to whip myself back into shape and re-teach myself the fundamentals; I would not recommend it for beginners or for advanced users trying to sharpen their skills because it is just way too accommodating. You barely have to aim to make a clean strike and barely need to adjust your stance or the position of your fingers and toes at all to avoid injury.

The Best Stress Relief EVER!!!
To start things off I must specify that I am not a fighter by any stretch of the imagination, I've never before trained in boxing, MMA or any other similar sport. But with that being said, I love this thing, it is proving to be a fantastic investment. It is a great work out and a fantastic way to let out that built up frustration. Since I've started working with it I have found that my stress levels have dropped significantly and it has put me in a all around better mood. After a great deal of comparison I am very pleased that I paid more and went with the Powerline series. If you were just going to use the bag for punching and want to save a few dollars you could consider going with the original but if you feel like you are ever going to want to throw some kicks into the mix you will greatly appreciate the extra padding of the Powerline. The service provided by the folks at "KarateJoe's" has been great. With regular updates of the transaction, they seem to truly care about distributing quality products with excellent customer service. (Sorry that sounds like crappy commercial dialogue, but it's true.)A note to all those who are like me and are new to this genre of training / exercise. I truly feel that taking some kind of class could be hugely beneficial, if not at the very least check out some youtube videos. You should also make sure you have the proper protective equipment meaning hand wraps and bag gloves. Otherwise I feel you could do some real damage to your wrists. I have personally purchased the actual hand wraps, they provide great support, but they are a hassle to get on and off, especially if I'm in a bad mood and just really want to beat the crap out of the bag. Because of this I would look into the glove style hand wraps instead, they seem to be a lot quicker to take on and off while still providing support. Even though they tend to be a few dollars more I think the time you'll save would be more than worth it.All in all if you are on the fence about buying this take the leap and do it, you won't regret it.

good stuff
It's good quality. Only problem is to fill up water is not good enough to keep it sturdy. When I punch and kick, it keeps moving. Probably fill up with sands would solve that problem though. Still, I like this punching bag.

Get the Powerline rather than the Original
Way better than the Original. The Original has less foam and mine did not last long (12 months heavy use). The Powerline has way more padding.
