Good looking, does what a guitar should
Only 2 downfalls with this pack: the music stand was badly made, cheap, and couldn't be set up so went straight in the bin, and the strings are attached weirdly! The strings go through the body to a covered recess at the back of the guitar and attach to a sprung holder - I have changed my strings once and it's now completely unplayable because it just will not tune (and wouldn't hold tune either). The silver board (sorry I'm a beginner learning via Rocksmith, no idea what it's called) where the strings come to the front of the body lifts up as the strings are tightened and no amount of fettling with that or the sprung bit at the back helps. Looks like I will have to take it to a shop to be restrung every time, or buy a new one that doesn't have this routing when I can afford it - so for the most of 2020 to date this has been sat languishing. It isn't a great set up for a beginner just for this reason, which is a shame cos other than that the guitar is really nice and the accessories are (mostly) good.Tell a lie, 3 things, the pick that comes with it is for a bass guitar.

Great Start!
For anyone out there wondering whether this product is any good - don't worry. I bought this product after some research and am very pleased with it. The guitar is very well made and well finished. The guitar is set up well and you can get started straight away. If you've been told not to look at anything less than a Squire, they're wrong; for learning this guitar is perfectly fine. The tuner is simple but it works, the carry bag is good, the stand is good, the strap is good, the only down point is the amp, don't get me wrong, it works, and is quite loud, but unfortunately little on offer in terms of effects etc. Overall though, this is exactly what you need if you're just starting out - buy with confidence!

Electric guitar.
Ordered this guitar when my daughter decided she wanted to have lessons at school. Set arrived promptly in good condition. My daughter loved the colour as did her teacher. This is a reasonably priced instrument for a beginner and a more experienced player. The bag is somewhat flimsy for carrying to school regularly and will need to replaced by a more sturdier one soon. I would recommend this product.

Wish I'd bought one of these years ago
I bought this as an early Christmas present for myself - thinking I'd probably play with it for a few weeks then get bored and consign it to a dusty corner of our spare room. Wrong! This guitar package is totally absorbing and I find myself picking it up and playing nearly every day, sometimes for several hours on end. The sound straight out of the box was impressive, and even a complete beginner like me was soon able to get to grips with some basic chords and riffs. On that front I recommend Owen Edwards's Rock Hero instruction book/CD which has you matering TAB and blasting out some simple classic rock classics in no time.Tuning is a piece of cake with the supplied electronic tuner, and the little amp makes a plasant hum and is easily loud enough to get your own back on noisy neighbours! The stand and case are fine for a beginner and nothing has yet come apart of broken after 4 months of regular usage.I'd recommend getting one of these for any aspiring electric guitarist of any age.

this guitar is fantastic
This guitar is very well made. It came really well packed with loads of stuff to get you started. The amp is more then enough to get you started, I looked at the reviews and decided to go for it, I think for the money you won't get a better deal or a better made guitar then this, it plays well and looks and feels fantastic, love the little amp it can sure blast out for its size, this is the first time in 30 years since I last played a guitar and must say I've found it great fun, If your looking for a good starter set this is the one to go for, the action is very good, I love it top marks from me, Its brill looks good plays very nicely and sounds great,

Well produced lefty guitar kit
Amazing value for the price. Considering this came out of China, it would have to have had at this price, the build quality is excellent. The E6 is the model that Trev Wilkinson has tweaked up and the improvement shows, it includes his own branded pickups. It arrives pretty much adjusted and ready to go, just tune it with included electronic tuner. Unusually for a cheap guitar it is very light in weight(under 6lbs I believe). The little amp supplied can make a devil of a racket, it comes with an overdrive button and headphone socket. You could probably benefit from acquiring a reverb pedal. The strap and connection lead aren't up to much but the rest of the kit is OK.If it came in as a better deal you would wonder what was wrong with it!

Cheap and nasty - lasted about a year but the whole thing warped to such an extent that when I took it to the local guitar store to tune they told me it was scrap.

Now all I have to do is actually learn to play!
I'm still trying to figure out how to load photos, if thats possible here and I figure it out, I will. Its a great kit. Really nice quality body, I saw the same thing in another make (Behringer I think it is)and this one beats it. The tuner that came with it though is a newer digital version, but I'm not complaining because it looks like a better one than the one in the pic. Love the dvd, I think I'd have to keep doing the beginning bit to remember the keys but very easy to learn. Decent bag, spare strings, the amp is nice, cant really say anything bad. I bought Rocksmith for Xbox too, I'm gonna try it out on that too.
