A different, large mouse pad, so far with good wrist support
The youngest of my daughters fell in love with this mouse pad; given her effort in saving money to buy it, I decided it deserves a review.1. This is the most common of the Chinese formats of mouse pad having a wrist support resembling the paw print of a cat (having a dew-like claw mark nonexistent in real cat marks), which are mass produced in the same manner in three color models by a number of manufacturers, and are available here from different sellers within a range of prices.2. When grouped across its sellers here, its total number of reviews is currently close to a thousand, with an average of about 4.5 stars. However, most reviews --particularly those of such seller groups with the largest and most positive ones-- are rated unreliable by an external website that analyzes reviews for reliability, so the item's quality cannot be ascertained on this basis. This kind of disparity amongst sellers for the same product is likely the result of incentivized reviews, so I bought the pad from this seller whose customer reviews were rated highly reliable (grade A).3. The Chinese mouse pad we got is the one that Kojima Trade (Kojima Tsusho Co. Ltd.) of Nagoya, Japan, imports to sell in wholesale under the "Neko kyu" cat character's name in that country. I consider this a positive element as Chinese goods sold in Japan often seem to undergo better quality control that similar ones sold here.4. This Amazon webpage has no useful information on the pad and its care. However, one side of the cardboard back of the Kojima's bubble wrap package has care instructions [see green frame in first figure]: they are written in Japanese, so I provide a rough translation in the addendum below for those interested in that. The cardboard also provides technical specs [see blue frame] for this product of the company's Neko Kyu series: name ("Nekokyu mouse pad"); size in cm (20 x 27 x 2.3); weight in grams (340); and materials used in the top (polyurethane), middle (silicone), and bottom surfaces (SBR foam). The claimed 11.5 x 8'' size of the product is inaccurate; its dimensions are given in the lower panel of the second figure.5. The polyurethane fiber fabric covers the entire mouse area and the wrist pads without breaks, and the cat paw's colors are not offset [upper panel, second figure]. The black styrene-butadiene rubber withstands slipping of the pad (on clean surfaces); its resistance to abrasion is very good but that to mineral oil is very poor. It remains to be seen how long will the top-surface fabric last.ADDENDUMI am a Westerner with only a basic understanding of Japanese kanji characters, so the following is a rough translation of the care instructions.* Peel off the vinyl sheet from the bottom black surface.* Do not use as anything other than a mouse pad.* Supports optical sensor mouse and the ball mouse. (In some cases the light may not be able to be handled due to the crossing (?) coming from the optical mouse.)* Keep away from fire since it deforms at high temperatures.* Do not use in direct sunlight or hot and humid places as there is risk of deformation and alteration.* The material may smell slightly when you start using it. If needed, ventilate the pad by leaving it under good sunshade for a few hours.* If it gets dirty, wet the cloth with water and wipe lightly. Do not use detergent._____

A bit awkward
I absolute love the way it looks, but it is a bit awkward with all the extra padding. What I have discovered is that by turning it just a bit, the smaller toe (thumb like part) feels rather nice pressing against my wrist. It takes some getting used to and if you have a large mouse, probably not the best mousepad. It matches my bedroom and I love cats...so I'm keeping it!♥

Color printing is slightly misaligned, but overall great buy
The big middle pad is the softest and most comfortable. The other cushions are slightly harder, but not bad. I use this every day and I really like it. The color printing doesn't exactly match up with the cushions, but not a huge deal for a cheap product.

Cute!!!
While outta not the most comfortable, it's definitely the most cute and definitely preferable to the anime girl ergonomic mousepads I've seen. Definitely can feel a difference in my wrist, though you have to get just right to be comfortable between the paw grooves. Still worth the buy.Did come with a strong smell, though I've had it a few days and it's died down considerably. doesn't effect the quality of the product whatsoever.

cute mousepad
I bought this to use in the office, the paw pads are cute and it doubles up as a stress-relieving toy.The heaviness of the material was unexpected and nice--- very good quality.

Puuuurfect!
This is the second time I have purchased this mousepad. I love how soft the toe beans are and it's a really smooth surface for my mouse. Also, the size is great, it allows for free movement and I don't have to adjust to keep the mouse on the pad. I recommend it!

Cute but sloppy
I gave this as a gift. The only reason it has 3 stars instead of 5 is because the paws were offset. Almost like they colored outside of the lines with the pink. But it's functional and still cute.
