All the demos, etc. are amazing to listen to and it's such a rare treat to hear music as it was originally produced and then see it changed before it was laid down on vinly so many years ago. Case in point, Tel Aviv! Why did this version no appear on the original album? Could not believe how great the lyrics were, the sounds - and for the first time in my life I finally felt sorry for Andy as he was never allowed to be the rocker he wanted to be - and Tel Aviv is a great showcase of his young talent.When i first heard Secret Oktober I was mad this did not appear on Seven and the Ragged Tiger, now add the original Tel Aviv to the history of missed opportunities.The videos are amazing as well. Planet Earth Club Mix was a sight to behold. You can just look @ the crowd and know this was a moment in time captured by an unknown source. The New Romantic gear and make-up and the dancing...sigh... what a wonderful time! Just to see the group so young, so full of energy and to know what their musicla legacy would become is awesome.The only problem I've got at all is the inclusion of the same songs over and over again. One being that, 'Is There Something I should Know?' is not on this collector's piece. MOST people but not all, have not ever even heard 'To The Shore' which was mostly sold in the UK on their Original DD album (without)... 'Is There Something I Should Know?'. In the US it was opposite, 'To The Shore' was not found on the US release of the DD album but, 'Is There Something I Should Know?' was.This album contains refreshing never-heard-before versions of 'Girls On Film' and 'Tel Aviv'. 'Tel Aviv' was mostly an instrumental track. NOT HERE!! On this set you can really hear Nick's, Roger's, and Andy's contribution to 'Careless Memories'. If you set your stereo's volume to 3/4's...WOW. They can really jam on that tune. John's contribution can really be heard here too but, you have to listen for it. Simon did a really great job on 'Careless Memories' as well.There are many surprises that I feel I must allow YOU to see and hear for yourself. I wish not to spoil any more of the surprises than I may already have.The Dvd is exceptional. There are pieces or versions that you cannot find anywhere else. For that reason alone you should buy this collector's edition. For the overall price and relative value. This is a MUST. I am not typing this just to 'hype' up this set.
