Autunm Winter Fashion Unisex Crochet Knitted Scarf Cape Shawl with Sleeves

I’ve been obsessed with this look for a couple of years, ever since I came across something similar while searching for my mother of the groom dress for our son’s wedding in 2019. I thought I’d try finding one to use for our Anniversary photoshoot in the snow. I wanted to love it, but I just couldn’t. It wasn’t hard to figure out how to put it on, but it doesn’t stay put on bare shoulders & arms, and wouldn’t stay down far enough to hide the waistband of the skirt. Material is very soft and it was plenty big for me at 5’4” 170lbs, usual size in tops is XL. Perhaps too big. However, I also didn’t think the style of knit was dressy enough for the look I needed. At least I tried! Returned it today.

This is not as drape-y and flattering as the pictures make it look, but it is OK. You really have to mess with it to get it to lay right. Once it does, it looks pretty decent. Not worth sending back, but not as thrilled with it as I thought I'd be. One needs some instruction on how to wear it different ways, but it can be kind of fun and unique. Overall I like it pretty well, but it is not phenomenal.

I had ordered these from somewhere else and they were not going to arrive in time for Christmas. Then I saw them on my fav...AMAZON! Got them in 2-days with Amazon Prime. GREAT, but....the smell was AWFUL! A chemical or some kind of stench. I couldn’t wrap that and give as a gift! I had to wash them ASAP, so my gift recipients smelled nothing but fabric softener. They loved them, but having to wash them first made it a not so pleasant experience.

I may have given a higher star, but it needed to come with some type of insert that shows you how the different ways to wear it. I ended up printing it off of someone else's review and including it in the box as it was a gift for someone. Shipping was a bit slow, but overall not too bad for the price

I was not expecting it until early October so nice job from the seller on getting this delivered sooner. The knit is thick and fluffy and very warm, color is a rich very saturated blue, I absolutely love the look of it and how it feels. My reason for not giving 5 stars is that the cuff on the sleeves is way too long (for my taste...) it runs all the way up to my elbow. This is a true "one size fits all".

The quality is fine, but the length is too short to be able to wear appropriately.

This scarf is not adult size unless the adult is the size of a 6-8 yr old. The one I ordered also came with some of the wool stitches pulled out.
