What does without strength mean?

Thank you for your question. “+0.00 (Without Strength)” means that the lenses are made without magnification/ diopter strength.

With this variation you will get the premium Japanese CR39 lenses filtering out 99,5% off all blue light without the extra magnification some of our customers prefer. 
The lenses will support your eyes preventing eye strain when using your computer or other digital devices late at night, with improved sleep hormone (Melatonin) levels for better night sleep. 
We developed the lenses to be as bright as possible and still have benchmark performance, to let through maximal amount of safe light for a relaxed and clear viewing experience.

In what range of nm do the glasses block? And what percentage of light transmits at that nm?

Hi Brianna,

Thank you for your great question. The lenses filter out 99,5% of the blue light spectrum (380-500 nm), and over 70% of the all green light (500–565nm).

This includes the melatonin disturbance zone around 460 nm in the blue light spectrum. Studies have demonstrated that this type of light easily disturbs your sleep, emitted in large amounts by LED:s in your TV, smartphone, and computer screens.

What are the dimensions of the two sizes? I usually need narrow size glasses and I'm wondering if these will fit.

Hi Julia,

Thank you for your question. BLB08 is a Large sized model with oversize lenses, while BLB10 have a Regular sized frame. The frames are slightly different to be tailored for respective size, which can be seen in the product pictures. 
BLB10 is suitable if you are looking for a narrower fit, with the size 55-17-145 and a total width of 141 mm/ 5.55 inches. To be sure this is a good fit, you can measure and compare the width with another pair you have at home.

We will launch another model in late September, which will have a small sized frame and the same premium materials as the existing ones.
