No assembly instructions, and no assembly parts.
The stools arrive unassembled, with no instructions, and none of the necessary parts for assembly. You'll need to head to the hardware store for 4 bolts, 1 inch long with 1/4 x 20 threads per chair, and spend some quality time fastening the seats to the bases. After that, (and a little WD-40) they are very nice, smoothly swivel, and seem quite sturdy.

BEAUTIFUL CHAIRS
These are beautiful. Although it says that the cushions are loose, mine were attached so there was no assembly required! Yay! They come with protective wrapping and are completely enclosed. It took a few minutes to unwrap everything, but it's worth it. I found that they were too tall for my counter so I removed about 2" off the leg bottoms which did not affect the appearance at all. There are floor protectors on each leg bottom. Very nice on my vinyl flooring. The cushion covers are a nice, light beige and look very nice with the natural rattan. I like that the seats swivel all the way around and no built-in stops. Get lots of compliments.
