DiscSavers Slim CD Jewel Case, Clear - 200 Count

These cases are very small and space-efficient. They are especially nice because there's no big hinge, which takes up a lot of space. The mechanism for opening them is a little button in the center, which is very easy to use. The plastic is not brittle, yet will completely protect my CDs and DVDs.

I just received my delivery of these cd/dvd/blu-ray holders. They seem well made and mine are just like the photo, with the rounded corners.This is the first time I have purchased these types of holders. Previously to this, I had purchased the harder, more brittle type. These are a softer plastic. What I am concerned about is that some of them are not flat, rather bent in a slight arc. When I tested placing a dvd in one of them, the arc remained. I am a little concerned that even though these are soft plastic, that it may eventually bend the cd/dvd. I don't even know if a dvd can be bent so I don't know if this is a silly concern. Perhaps the soft plastic will eventually flatten out or possibly would not have any effect on the disc.Has anyone out there found this to be an issue at all? If you have, please place a comment to this review to clear my concerns up, plus it will also assist others who may be debating on buying this product.At this time, I'm giving it 3 stars because the quality of the holder seems very good except for the fact that some are not flat. I will return and adjust the rating either up or down if need be.UPDATE: Three days days later.... The day I received my shipment, I placed a cd in one of the bent cases to see if in a few days, the case might relax flat. It did not. I looked through the rest of the shipment and can see many that are not flat, so I have decided to return them. Originally I had given them three stars, but now have reduced it to one. This is just the second one star review I have ever given...

These cases are not hard plastic with little thin hard plastic flimsy hinges like the Memorex jewel cases. These cases are easy to open and close and discs fit snuggly. They are see through so you can write on your discs or tape a picture to the inside front cover and read what's in the case without opening it.

Use these all the time when mailing a CD/DVD. Strong & durable plastic. Only use the DiscSaver brand. Tried others but they are not well made when compared to DiscSaver. Was able to buy them locally @ Fry's in the past. They stopped selling them so I get them on Amazon now. Clear is nice - helps when trying to find a disc quickly. Price is right too for 200 cases

I got these cases because I was storing all my DVD/CD in paper sleeves and decided that I needed to put them in something better. The cases snap shut firmly to protect against dust and scratches. Combine these with the handy boxes and you have a winning combination. I've recommended this product to my friends and family.
