Great Box; Looks nice, feels nice and my silver wear fits perfectly

Beautiful box but very disappointed it does not hold a service for 12 when the flatware is decorative and not flat and simple. There are only 10 knife slots in the lid.

I just was given my great grandmother's sterling silverware. The original case was old and in very poor condition. This beautiful chest has now made my cherished gift a wonderful home. The quality is good and it seems seem well made. I would recommend this chest to anyone who needs one.

My mother had me order this for her, and she has loved it since she got it! Beautiful silverware, and the box has lasted as well. :)

This is a beautiful chest but don't be fooled by the description. It is NOT A 12 PLACE SETTING CHEST! It only holds 10 knives. I did not count the knives in the photo but there is only 10 shown so from that standpoint it is correct. But the description says it is a 12 place setting chest. Very disappointed and on Mother's Day no less.

Love the simplicity of the design. The chest fit my 12 piece place settings fit well although it was a little tough with the serving pieces.

The pocket part that is fixed to the lid that holds the knives in place came off of the lid. I discovered it was attached by mere staples which cannot possibly hold higher quality flatware knives that are on the heavier side. I am waiting to hear back from Kingscote for their response for such a poorly constructed product to see if they will follow through with their warranty.UPDATE: I found out that Kingscote's warranty expired long ago. Also since then, I noticed that the surface of the wood scratches easily (think of what happens to cheap IKEA furniture - yup, like that!)

It fit the silverware perfectly. It was a gift and and they loved it.
