On its arrival, the cable fits the bill perfectly and now I'm able to switch between my home and work laptops again. My keyboard and mouse are Steelseries gaming devices and as such they have features that go beyond basic keyboard and mouse functionality which can be unstable when not plugging them directly into a computer and even more unstable through a KVM. Having plugged it all in though, any concerns I had about things not working quite right were dispelled. The Mac is able to take advantage of all of the features of both the keyboard and mouse using this cable through the KVM and I'm even able to use the programmable macro features of both devices on both Windows and Mac.
