Heated quickly
I wasn't expecting a lot based on complaints of this being slow. The one we received, not the case, I was able to heat to boiling two full (over full) carafes of cold (out of the fridge) water in less than 10 minutes. We got this to use with a manual k-cup maker we purchased. Both work great. I can't speak for longevity at this time. I will update later if it dies before it's time.

Love this gadget!
this is the handiest thing to carry in my suitcase! I use a drip coffee filter when I travel, because I'm kind of a coffee snob--motel coffee?? ick. This gets the water hot, and packs away easily afterwards. I love this

Best birthday gift I have ever bought myself
Perfect use at work & for travel. It boils quite quickly. Best feature is it turns off when it’s to the rapid boil, then continuously re boils the water if the switch is left on. I just keep adding water so I have hot water all night long at work

Works great, sturdy, light weight and compact for packing in luggage; 110/220 switch needs work
I like to have fresh ground coffee, first thing in the morning. This little pot just went to Europe with me for a few weeks and did the job perfectly. I used the Primula Single Serve Reusable Fine Mesh Filter with it.The 110/220 switch is slightly tricky to use, but I was careful the first time, fiddled with it to figure it out, and there was no problem from then on. It turns in the opposite direction from what seems intuitive to me, but as long as the slot is pointing toward the correct voltage you've got it set right. I used the file on my nail clippers to flip the switch. The slot is too narrow for a coin or key. I knocked off one star for the switch design.I also sent the manufacturer a suggestion to redesign it with an automatic sensing circuit instead of the switch. I'm an engineer and know that's doable, for probably just a few bucks more. If you plug it into 220 with the switch in the 110 position you'll probably kill it, and there's just no real reason to leave the possibility for that error. But if you pay attention this product works great as it is.It got a full pot boiling in 3 minutes on either 110 or 220. People who say it takes too long to boil might have the 110/220 switch in the wrong position, or else received a defective unit and should return it.Yes, it can get hard water deposits in it, but don't blame the kettle for that! Just wipe them out.

Great for travel.
I use to use the coffee pot in the hotel to heat water for my cereal and tea, but it always tasted like coffee. Now my husband can use the funky coffee maker that they have in the room and I can heat great tasting water for tea or my hot cereal. I have two a white one I keep at home and the black on to stay in my suit case. everyone who sees how great they work end up getting one and sometimes two.

Disappointed by defective product.
I really enjoyed this kettle when I first began using it. It boiled water within two minutes and was very effective. However, about two weeks into using it, one day it just died. I tried everything to get it working again, but no luck. I was very disappointed!I contacted the seller and let them know what happened with the product, and they (reluctantly) issued a refund. I'm not sure if my particular kettle was just a one-off situation, or if this happens frequently with this product but at the very least I am satisfied that I got my money back for the defective one.

Super awesome
Took this on a camping trip - what an awesome thing to have!!You do not wait long to have the water boiled for 2 cups of coffee at the same time. by the time you finished preparing your coffee cup the water already boiled and you are ready to enjoy a glorious morning coffee before your day starts. This really helped a lot having this on the go with us. we boiled water where ever we went and found electricity while we were on Safari. Really Really recommend this to everyone! it has dual power mode so you can use it on 110 and 220 power sources just make sure you set it to the correct power setting or else you will not have a kettle to use.

Perfect for a cup of joe on the go
This came in handy to keep in my bag and heat up water for coffee. I plan to pack it with me wherever I go from now on.Updated: Worked 3 times. No longer works. Extremely disappointed.
