This purse is not genuine leather, it is composite leather. It has a very fake stiff look to it. The little tag that hangs on the side IS genuine leather, and is supposed to indicate what the purse it constructed of. It is a misrepresentation. The purse is a cute design, but heavy, stiff and fake looking.

Just got this handbag today in the green. It's a beautiful color of green. Brighter olive tone. Size is perfect for me. A medium size and not overwhelming to my petite height. Plenty of room and organization features. The top handle and also adaptable shoulder strap make it very versatile. Leather is soft and supple. The olive green color will make it a good neutral to wear with everything. Price excellent for a leather handbag.

 A great deal! I bought this green one for my girlfriend. She was very excited the moment she got it and moved all her stuff to this purse at once. This medium size purse has plenty of room without too large. This bag is extremely well made 1) The outside leather of the bag is supple and soft to touch. The inside has a luxurious liner. 2) The zippers and other hardwares are solid. 3) All the seams are perfectly stitched with no loose threads. 4) The bag has thin straps with a bit of adjustment. 5) Very nicely packaged. And this olive green purse is really beautiful, can match many of her dresses and shoes. Actually, this purse soon become her favorite. I would say this is a great deal, better than her $200 bags! If you are in need of a medium size purse, if this look is your style, you have to check this out!

On the down side, I was looking for a high quality leather that was soft and pliant and the leather this purse is made from is stiff and shiny. The strap is very long, so if you like cross-body you'll be fine. I prefer to carry my purses from my left shoulder, and when set to the shortest notch, this purse strap is still twice as long as the shoulder straps on my other purses (I compared them) and the excess strap length gets in the way. I'm hard on the bags I use a lot, and I'm pretty sure this purse would scratch easily and am really sure the "hard" finish is not going to be forgiving, so that the scratches add to the character of the leather.The purse has a lot of good points. If you disregard my reservations about the leather, its construction alone means it looks like it easily cost twice as much. It stands upright on it's own. It has four small footed brads on the bottom. The lining is nice. The buckle is solid but strictly decorative, and the hidden magnetic clasp works well. It comes extremely well-packaged with all the metal pieces wrapped in protective tissue. The hardware that attaches the removable strap swivels nicely. The handle and its hardware seem quite sturdy.Basically, I found all the positive reviews to be accurate, it is just not the soft leather I expected from the product description. If the issues I've described don't bother you, I'm guessing you will find it a 5 star purse.My husband is a horseman and has worked with lots of leather for saddles and reins and harnesses and driving seats, etc. After I forced him to give me his opinion--"I make it a point never to criticize saddle-bag choices"--he said the shininess cheapened the look of the leather, at first glance he thought it was a vinyl purse.

This is a nice purse. I like the shade of green, like the style, plenty of room for those who only carry essentials. So, the purse has an inside zipper within the flap that is suppose to attach with two magnets - one on either side of the flap. The magnets do not line up without spending time to try to attach. I cannot get both to attach at the same time without effort. They are very weak. So, when only using the shoulder strap, the flap not closing is not significant. But when you pick the purse up by the handle the whole thing opens up. This renders the purse useless due to the weak magnets. Gee....I wonder why the manufacturer did not put just one strong magnet in the middle??? Or magnets that have strength enough to close easily???

Handbag arrived on time. Looks exactly as pictured. I bought this as a gift (that I let the recipient choose herself). The color is an elegant green-gray that will be very neutral but not boring. It appears to be very well made, and the combination of handle and removable crossbody strap is practical. It is also quite secure, with both a top zipper that closes the entire bag, and a flap over it with two magnetic snaps. I was especially impressed by the careful packing of the bag. It was beautifully wrapped and protected...you got the impression that someone really wanted you to unwrap it and find it in perfect condition...and I did!

Great small purse for when you do not want to lug around a hugh tote. The leather is of good quality and the hardware is charming. I purchased the black - but may come back for a different color.
