I've been using this for almost two months now, and it works well. The battery charges quickly and continues to work well, despite heavy daily use. When triggered, the lid stays open for several seconds. If I'm doing some sort of work that requires frequent use of the trash, I'll either take the top off entirely or open the lid then switch it off. Once I'm done, I switch it back on and tap the close button.There is a soft sort of machine noise when the lid opens and closes, but it's not loud. It wouldn't bother me if I was in the room and someone else was using it, but of course that's all down to individual tolerance.The same goes for the small red light that flashes periodically to show that the sensor is working. Light is often a problem for me, particularly those that flash on and off, but I'm not bothered by it at all. Even though my bed is only a few feet away, I can't see it when I'm lying down, and it's not bright enough or big enough to wake me even if I could see it.Although I periodically trigger the lid by accident, that's not the fault of the product but rather a result of living in a tiny area. If I have to do something for an extended time over where the trash can is, I'll usually just switch it off at the back.For bags, I started out using Hefty 4-gallon flap tie bags. They just fit the inner bucket, but keeping them secured over the rim of the bucket lid was too hard and it often fell in on itself. Then I switched to 6-gallon bags, and that was better. There's a fair amount of excess bag hanging over the rim, but the bags stay put. It could be that the flap tie design of the smaller bags was the real problem, and a regular 4-gallon bag might have stayed put, but I'll probably stick with the slightly larger ones for this trash bin.I was apprehensive about spending so much for a trash can, but it's been a great addition to my home, and I'm hopeful that it will hold up for a long time to come.

 This trash can is great! You simply wave your hand over the top and it opens then closes on its own. You do not fully touch the garbage can, there are two buttons on the lid, the open button that allows the lid to stay open for a longer period of time when I needed. It works as promised and enjoying its use. I love the sensor trash can.

A great purchase. I love this touchless trash can. It's beautifule and good using. I put it in kitchen room, it is convenience to throw garbage when I preparing food. No need to open or touch the lid of trash can, it also can keep my dogs out of the trash. The trash can has a rechargeable lithium battery and USB line, It is working with any adaptor whitch used for mobile charging, and do not worry the battery anymore. It is working even I take out the rechargeable battery when connect with the power by adaptor. It's perfect products.

I thought I ordered a 13 gal kitchen trash can, this is very small , too small for the kitchen. Very disappointed.

A great purchase. I hate to touch trash cans when preparing food. With the automatic opening feature, I can drop trash in without touching the lid of trash can. Works very well. My children love to help throw trash away because of the 'magic' opening feature. It contains a inner bucket and it is very convenince to clean the garbage, and it is most improtant there are a rechargeabe battery inside and a usb charging cable. When it is no power, you can charge the trash can directly without buying other extral battery. It is a good design.

It came on time and works perfectly. Motion over the lid causes it to open and after you put something in it auto closes. No more touching the dirty can, or anything such as that. it has a rechargeable battery and a usb charge ,if it is no energy ,you can charge the battery and it is very convenience ,you don't have to worry about battery. Highly recommend this product and With the great look of this product you can place it anywhere and not have to worry about hidding your trash can.

Folks, we now live in the future! Congratulations!This trash can is the right size for our tiny apartment bathroom and yet I feel the capacity is one that really works for our usage of tissues, q-tips, face wipes, etc. The lid has a quick opening response time and doesn't close so quickly that it's annoying. The sensor does need you to be pretty close before it activates though. I guess that's a built in precaution, but I'd like about an inch and a half more clearance.Seems to hold a charge for quite a while and the top is easily removable so you don't have to connect the whole thing to an outlet or something. Great product!
