I have not used with phone (did not buy it for that purpose) but it appears to be of very good quality, is easy to use and has excellent clairity.

I purchased this telescope for my husband for Christmas. He was excited when he unwrapped the gift, but that's where the excitement ended. After opening the box and going through the contents, he realized that the generic box it was sent in actually contained a different brand of telescope. The instructions included were very limited and appeared to be written by either someone who didn't know English very well, or they had not grammatical education at all. When my husband tried the product, it had no where even close to the visibility range indicated on the product details. We decided to return the product thinking maybe they just sent the wrong one. When the replacement item arrived at our home several days later, it was the same exact thing. No mistake, I guess. Very poor quality product. Look for something different if you are in the market for a monocular telescope.

For the price, this is a very nice Monocular! I ordered 5 of these to give to hikers and bird watchers in our family. They really liked them. The photo option is a great idea, but we can only seem to get a round photo of which the camera lens (on the phone) seems to have a hard time focusing on it's subject (we tried several cameras). The Monocular is very easy to use though, just not the camera.

40x60? I do not think so. It's like a 5x30. I really feel bad, because this monocular does not has 40 x.

First of all the view thru it is really crappy because u don't have full view of the lens it has a big blurry ring all the way around it and bout givesu a headache looking thru it for very long! Second of all the phone attachment is kinda crap to because it is a little flimsy and is kinda hard to get it to stay where u need it to stay! And that is only if u can figure out how to put the silly thing on because there are no instructions for any of that! Overall I'm pretty disappointed and believe I'll be sending mine back and trying a different route! 😤
