Quality sound in a quality product from a quality vendor.
Splaks did not.meet my explanations -- Splaks exceeded my expectations the first time I ordered them and affirmed those expectations with this reorder. Prompt delivery, excellent quality build and sound and downright elegant packaging for such a low price. I will gladly buy again from this vendor and welcome information about its other offerings.

Excellent purchase for the price
Excellent purchase for the price. The bass is pronounced and really awesome. They're the opposite of tinny-- the range is so deep that things can sound muffled, and that's the only reason I dropped it to 4 stars instead of 5. If you have a music player with an adjustable EQ (Rocket Player is what I use), this isn't a problem with a little tinkering of the settings. They also stay in your ears very well, so they're great for working out. No microphone, but I prefer that about these.

Garbage
These earbuds were absolute garbage!!! I paid $14.99 for them and they didn't even work! First they say connect them via Bluetooth (which I don't understand why that should even be necessary if you plug the earbuds into the phone. If i wanted to connect the earbuds via Bluetooth, I might as well have paid for wireless earbuds, right??). So I plugged them in like they said and waited for the "Lightning" device to show up under my Bluetooth settings and it didn't even show. I turned Bluetooth off and turned it back on and still nothing. The audio played right through the phone speakers. And when I received the package, the case was cracked. I bought these to try to save a little money, but you would be better off spending the $30 to buy the ones from Apple. At least you know what you're getting yourself into. All this to say that I have returned these earbuds and will not be buying them again.

Material and Design Poor, But Decent Sound
Today these earbuds shorted out. They've lasted me exactly 1 month. I'm glad the cost for these isn't much since the quality of the materials and design is poor. I really don't think they were meant to last very long. You really have to be careful with the wire because they can easily short out both left and right earbud. I usually like the earbuds with a 90 degrees input jack because that usually increase the life cycle of my earbuds, but I decided to go with this one. Also, I find it doesn't take much for them to fall out of my ears.With that said for the price you're paying, and the quality of the sounds and bass you get from these earbuds is actually really good. I plan to buy another one until I find better earbuds.

More PLUSES than negatives.
This is the higher end of what I call "China junk." DEEP bass. Sturdily made. Nice long cords. Ear seals were a little small for my ears. So I swapped them with seals from an old set. Bass improved. Deep bass comes with a compromise. Not as efficient as other earbuds. Have to really crank up the volume to get an audible level. Fit and finish is a little wonky. Sometimes need to jiggle the plug around for them to work. =But THESE ARE KEEPERS!

Excellent value earphones for everyday general use
I was looking for a simple replacement for my damaged earphones. These worked straight out of the box with no hassle. My expectations were conservative, but these earphones performed far better than I had expected. For the price point, I would say these earphones are a great value. Of course, if your intention is high-fidelity sound or for any fine-detailed audio work, these probably won't do it for you. Again, I have to say, they are great earphones that are easy-to-use, versatile, and comfortable and will do the job in many arenas
