I have super dry skin and am allergic to everything. Then they DCed my cream that I have been using for years. I bought this one hoping that it would be comparable and it is better. I put this on and night and then wake up in morning with beautiful moist skin. It doesn't have a fragrance or any nasty chemicals

A little goes a long way. Very hydrating. I love the way it feels. Super soft and silky going on. No fragrance, I’m very sensitive to smells and this one has no smell. I’ll definitely buy it again.

I’m 33 and over the last few years have been trying to step up my skin care game. I use another REN product (glycolactic acid mask) and love it and wanted to branch out. I have super sensitive skin that can tend to be oily in some places and dry in others and for some reason have ventured into this adult acne situation ... let me tell you. This stuff is amazing. I’ve had a hard time finding a moisturizer that actually moisturizes without becoming oily... otherwise they are too light. This stuff goes on thin, can be oily but you rub it in. It is a game changer. It has evened my complexion, I’ve noticed fewer break outs and is a match for my retinol dryness. I even find myself wearing less make up! I love this. It’s been two weeks and I’d buy it again in a heart beat.

I would give this a 5 star for helping my dry skin but am only giving 4 because of the way this stuff smells. I am really sensitive to the way things smell and this smells totally awful to me. I have to put a scented lotion on after applying this stuff.

This is definitely the real deal. Some reviewers mentioned oil separation of their product, mine arrived in a consistency identical to what is sold at Sephora. Absolutely perfect. That has much more to do with the conditions in which it is shipped, as the same complaints were present for customers purchasing online from Sephora during warmer months. As far as how it works, it makes my skin appear smoother and more even toned overnight, like magic, it even heals or improves breakouts (which I did not expect from a product with such a high oil content). As a general rule I stay away from products with this much oil as they tend to cause me to break out, but I’m glad I tried this when I got a sample, it’s pretty amazing stuff. Also, it is so much cheaper here than you can purchase elsewhere.Application Tip from a Sephora employee - apply this to lightly damp skin, allows it to really absorb and not feel heavy/greasy.

When the humidity left the air at the beginning of fall, my skin got so dry. I was also washing my face everyday which also dried it out (glad I stopped that). I purchased this and had “meh” expectations. SO glad I made the purchase. By the second night, my skin was so soft, smooth, and radiant. I also decided to put this on my skin before my morning makeup routine and I loved how my makeup looked afterwards.The texture is like a lip balm, not really a cream. I don’t mind. It has a nice light smell to it (I’m sensitive to perfume especially when people feel the need to bathe in their own perfume - YUCK) so it didn’t bother my senses. They say to use a little bit but I used more than that. I’m halfway done after a few weeks and that’s fine by me. I’m sure you could get away with less usage.

This product is pricey, but the only thing I'm able to use on my sensitive, post-menopausal skin that doesn't cause it to flake or break out. In the past, I've purchased from REN directly or Sephora. However, I thought it would be convenient and save me a few dollars by purchasing via Amazon's subscribe and save. I was disappointed when it arrived. The product was separated and darker in color than what I'd purchased other places. I wonder if the product was old or had been in a hot warehouse. I'll keep this jar because it smells fine (not spoiled). However I've canceled the subscription and will go back to buying from the company directly.

I have aging, sensitive, acne-prone skin and live in a dry, desert climate. Finding something moisturizing enough that doesn't irritate my skin or cause a breakout has been challenging. I find this balm soothing and moisturizing and it has not caused any breakouts. It is similar to Darphin's Aromatic Purifying Balm (which I love and use at night once a week) but the texture is considerably lighter and the scent much more mild. A little goes a long way.UPDATE APRIL 2021:I am still very happy with this product. The weather is getting warmer but I don't find this product to be overly rich. If my skin is feeling parched, I use a little more of the balm and if my skin feels good or overly moisturized, I use less.
