microUSB is not durable
Update - Anker contacted me and, after gathering some info, provided a new set of cables. I'm VERY happy with their service, and have since ordered more Anker products :)These cables worked well until the microUSB ends bent and broke. I've owned them for just a few months and only three are functional. The primary problem is that the ends bend, but they also break. I've had a lot of trouble with the microUSB connection losing contact and my devices not charging.

If Only I Had Three More Inches!
Too much like me: Does what it's supposed to do but are really too short. Nuff said.Update: AnkerDirect Customer Support sent me an e-mail graciously offering me a new, longer, usb cable (for free) since I'm not really happy with these short usb cables. I declined their kind offer since it's not their "fault" that I read the description of the product and concluded that these would do just fine. Actually, as I stated before, they do work. It turns out that 12" is just a bit too short for what I've been using them for. NOT THE COMPANY'S "FAULT!" They've been great. Got the product to me in a decent amount of time at a price that was acceptable to me. Can't ask for more than that.Unless they can make you Batman. Then ask for that too.

Great deal and a great solution to Cable Rat's Nests!
Great for use in my Aukey 6 port charger in the office and even in the car where I have a 4 port Aukey car charger inside the center console. I can have my phone and headsets out of the way and charging without being tempted to respond to texts and emails while driving, yet can still receive and place hands-free bluetooth calls at will. These short cable also help with the "Rats Nest" at my home office, keeping cables at bay while charging. My Plantronics Bluetooth headset, S7 Edge phone, LG Stereo Headset, Fire HD10 and pencil sharpener all work great with these cables. I bought two sets so I could have some in my car and home office.

Nothing extraordinary, they get the job done
So these are Ok. Short, but then again cheap. Nothing to write home about, but handy for what they are. As noted by other reviews the cables are on the stiff side, and being short they have advantages and disadvantages. On the good side they allow for less cable tangling around your charging areas. On the not so good side, they are really not a good pair with multi output chargers (including Anker's) unless you are Ok with piling up your devices on top of each other.I would think next time I buy a set of cables I would probably get at least 2ft in length so I can spread my devices around better.

Great value on charging cords!
One has already died on me less than three months in, which is surprising as Anker is an EXCELLENT brand. Oh well, may be a manufacturing defect. It is useful to remember that a 1-foot cord isn't going to go very far (literally!). Don't expect to be able to play on your phone if this is plugged into a wall adapter, and if plugged into your laptop it may still be difficult to use the phone while charging. This of course is just the nature of the product.I would suggest this if you want to make your own "docking" station for your devices. The value for these are excellent! Quality cords in bulk quantities for a low price-that can't be beat.

I am very happy that my floor and desk area are so much ...
These go perfectly with Anker® 40W 5-Port High Speed Desktop USB Charger with PowerIQ Technology for iPhone, iPad Air 2, Samsung Galaxy, Nexus, HTC, Nokia and More (Black). Together, these 2 products cleared up a bunch of clutter from 5 different chargers and 5 longer cables. I am currently using it with a power bank, an iPhone 6, an iPad, a Nokia phone and a Kindle Paperwhite.I am going to buy another set for my wife for her array of electronics which include 2 Samsung Galaxy Notes, 2 bluetooth headsets and another iPad.I am very happy that my floor and desk area are so much more organized!

Do not waste your money!
The headphone jack never worked and the charger was very slow. Every since I hooked my charger to this device, my cord charges very very slowly now.

Not the quality you expect from Anker.
I bought several kits of these cables to replace basically all my older cables, believing it was designed and manufactured to Anker standards. While it is thick cable that looks durable, I have issues while charging nexus 5 and 6 phones. Cable looses contact if you move cable. I get that there is no gold standard for microusb socket but I think this is unacceptable for Anker. I have many older cables brand and no name and issues like I described occured only to baddest cables.
