Great part if installed correctly
This hood worked as advertised once I got it installed. It was literally a pain in the neck to install on my Delta XL-10 table saw, although this was not due to any short-comings of the part itself. I tried to be too clever, and painted myself into a corner with the installation approach I used.It was too small to simply bolt on to the bottom of the saw housing. So I cut a combination mounting ring/spacer to size from 1/2" plywood and cut out the center (leaving a square "ring" of plywood), to which I then attached the hood such that the hood would be on the "inside" (i.e., the hood will hang from the plywood ring by its 1" offset lip).At this time, I also attached an adapter to the outlet port (POWERTEC 70136 4 Inch 2 Inch Reducer) so that I could connect my shop-vac to the hood via a permanently installed hose. I screwed all the parts together, adding a bead of caulk to all mating points to prevent leaks. I then let the caulk cure before installing the assembly onto the saw (which I had already unbolted from the stand).Unfortunately, with everything in place, I discovered that now I couldn't reach the bolt/nut locations inside the saw housing (my new hood assembly was blocking the previously wide-open bottom of the saw). Although I did have enough forethought to get longer connecting bolts and to pre-drill holes in the plywood ring, getting the bolts to feed down through the holes from inside the saw housing was problematic at best. After fighting with it for a couple of hours, I was able to get three of the four bolts tightened to my satisfaction. I cheated on the fourth one - I used a drywall anchor and fender washers to get it snug-ish. I added caulk to the mating surfaces (saw-to-plywood, plywood-to-legs) before tightening the bolts. The bottom line is that, in spite of my dumbassery, the hood and adapter work as expected. Some dust is still escaping from the standard clearance plate, but it is much less than before installing the hood, and nothing is coming out the bottom. I do need to seal up some other spots on the saw housing, and will probably switch to a zero clearance plate - howver, I am already very happy with the results thus far.

Worked perfectly over my laser engraver/cutter.
This was used over my engraver/cutter. It is sturdy and was easy to install. Very satisfied with this purchase.

It fit perfectly
After 3" of rainfall flooded my basement, I thought it was time to eliminate sawdust on the floor. I ordered the 12" hood for my 1960's Delta Contractors table saw. I thought when I got it, it might need some slight modifications to fit the opening at the saw bottom. It fit like a dream. Perfect size for my Delta 10" Contractor saw. The outlet opening is the perfect size for 4" flex. Hats off for making a product that does the job. I usually only take the time to write bad reviews.

gets the job done
This could be designed to create more of a funnel, the way it is designed a lot of saw dust gets left in the saw.

It works but that's about all I can say for it
This works but could be improved. I installed this on my 10" Craftsman table saw. To install it I disconnected the saw from its stand. Then cut a piece of 1/2" plywood with an opening cut to fit the the sawdust hood. Attached the hood and inserted it between the saw base and the saw stand. It was necessary to trim the perimeter of the hood to fit this opening. After installation and hooked up to my Jet dust collector it does collect most of the sawdust generated by the tablesaw. However there is a significant amount of sawdust left inside that simply isn't collected and there is a lot of sawdust that ejects into my face by the blade and out the back of the saw next to the motor. A deeper and more steeply sloped hood would catch more of the sawdust from under the saw while some method of sealing off the area next to the motor would help with that issue. The sawdust kicked into your face by the blade??? That's another problem altogether. In the end then this item needs some adapting to work and Is OK for the price but not an end-all solution for dust collection.

Works great with rare earth magnets.
I hold this dust hood onto my table saw with 4 neodymium magnets, which beats the hell out of any mechanical attachment. The plastic is thick enough to allow countersunk #6 screws to hold the magnets without breaking the flange plane and the magnetic force is diminished just enough by the plastic to allow easy removal for splinter clean out. Sturdy and just the right thickness.

Excellent quality
I used this to replace the dust bag on my Mastercraft table saw. The rim on the saw had to be bent in to allow the dust cover to be permanently attached, and I used some butyl tape to seal any spaces. The cover flexed just enough to provide a solid installation. This product is well made of high quality material. The 4" to 2 1/2" adapter (#70136) does not fit into this cover, however. It butts to it. Overall I am very pleased with this product.

fits Craftsman contractors table saw
purchased for a Craftsman table saw and it fits on the bottom perfectly. Drilled some holes to fasten it up, and now can connect to my dust collector. Had to customize some 1/4 inch MDF panels to go around the external motor and belts. Which are held in place with magnets for easy removal for angle cuts.

Blow out your dust
This is a decent table saw dust hood. I think the only complaint I have with it is that the 4" exhaust pipe should have been a bit longer to add with clamping the dust collector to the hood.

Works great!
Fits easily in many places. I use it under my mitre saw and it easily collects the sawdust.
