About the Brand In the late '90s, fired by a desire to trademark and eventually sell the clever name "Hint Mint," then 20-year-old Harley Cross quickly discovered that you can't trademark a name without actually making a product. Completely unfamiliar with the world of manufacturing, he knew if he were to take on this challenge, he would need the help of someone he could trust. Harley made his first great business decision when he called his childhood friend, Cooper Bates. As partners, the two shared a similar artistic sesibility and tenacious drive. From start to finish, they would take on and produce this adventure themselves. Headquarters were set up in Cooper's one-bedroom apartment, where the two spent much time reading, sampling mints (and more mints) and designing and redesigning tin after tin... always striving for perfection. All were made without adding aspartame, gelatin, or any other animal by-product. Hint Mints are beautiful, powerful, and natural. In April 2000, Hint Mint sold their first order of 750 tins. By year's end, only ten months later, they had sold over one million. In addition to being the founder of Hint Mint, Harley Cross is an actor, having performed in the Merchant-Ivory film "A Soldier's Daughter Never Cries" and "Interstate 84," produced by Kevin Spacey. Copper Bates, who today runs all aspects of Hint Mint, is also an actor, a screenplay writer, and a director.

Too minty for me. Just wanted a HINT of mint
my cousin got some hint mints from a promotional event and I liked them so I found them online bought some. the ones I got online were not the same as the ones she had gotten. the picture of the pack looked the same so I got this kind, but the taste of the mints is not the same. the small pack my cousin had the mints were a light refreshing mint which I like. the larger pack which I ordered has larger mints with a heavier mint flavor, almost like an altoid. this pack of mints isn't so much a HINT of mint as full on mint, spit it out, too minty like an altoid. it's just not for me. if you are looking for something really minty this might be for you though.

The Best Mints - Tasty, Not too Strong, Classy
Hint Mint (Peppermint) are excellent mints. They're tasty, strong, though not artificially or excessively so, and classy.The tin is distinctive. Its a little bigger than a sticky notepad and curves slightly upward in the middle. It fits in your hand or shirt pocket. The top slides back to reveal the white, round mints. This is a secure, practical and stylish package.The mints themselves are small. They don't get in the way of talking. They're strong at first and pleasantly clear your nose and mouth. They're not excessively strong though. You can feel the purity of these mints. They don't leave any artificial aftertaste.

Bitter, Metallic in Taste....
I used to buy these from Amazon--several years ago--and was delighted when Amazon notified me that they were available again. However, after tasting one of them, I found that something is seriously wrong. Either they are very old, or they are made with a different formula. These taste terrible--kind of like sucking on a penny. Yuck. I did try to return them, and Barrington wouldn't pay for the return, despite the fact that they tasted really bad.

Better than the defunct Licorice Altoids
Yum. I found these looking for a substitute for Licorice Altoids, and they are better -- less sweet, more licorice.

Fantastic
It's hard to explain, but these have exactly the right flavor that a licorice mint should have, although they don't actually contain any mint.Altoids also makes a licorice mint, but it just doesn't taste right.The Hint Mint tin is also perfect for sliding into your hip pocket.

Love these mints
Love these mints, but packaging has changed in last year. Price is the same but now the mints are half the size they used to be. Disappointed to pay the same for half as much.

Like cough medicine
It looks like my hunt for licorice candy is getting me nowhere. This item is barely candy and more like cough medicine. it's rather sweet without being satisfying – sort of artificially so. Dislike it intensely. Not recommended.

缶がかっこいいです♪
近くのお店に売っており、はまっていましたが、入荷しなくなってしまったので残念におもっていたのですが、たまたまアマゾンをのぞいたら、こちらで発見！迷いなく購入してしまいました。自分の感覚では、甘くないです。缶がスライド式で、オシャレです。おじ様が、スーツのポケットから何気なく取り出して食べてたら、かっこいいですよね♪（入るかは、わかりかねますが。）また、購入を考えています。

ケースに傷がついていました。
仕事中の眠気覚ましとして使えるものを探してるときに見つけ、ケースのデザインが気に入ったので買ってみました。たしかにとても素敵なデザインなのですが、残念なことにかなりしっかり表面に傷が入っていました。しかも、梱包材には全く傷はなく、梱包される前に付いた傷のようです。細かい擦り傷程度であれば気にならないのですが、かなり深めの傷で文字が削れてしまっていました。見落とすというのは考えにくいので、わかっていて送られたのでしょうね。商品自体はとても好みだったので、今後は別の購入方法を考えてみます。

個人的に =ザクロ=と良い勝負といった感じで、とても気に入りました。好みにもよることを前提に、あまりミントミントしていないのがポイント。カカオの風味&アロマ 楽しむ、上手に1粒使いをすればいつでもどこでも リフレッシュ&リラックス へ誘ってくれるアイテム。ヒントミントシリーズは、ご存知の通り そのケースに大変な価値を感じるものですが、中でもこの クラッシックラベルチョコレートミントのそれは抑えめのゴールド＆ブラウン のミックスカラーが何ともシックでオトナな感じで 美しく...これは、絶対にゴミ箱へポイはできない代物!お高めなミントは、お手軽アイテムにしずらいのが難点ですが...ヒントミントについては、高級だから/高級感があるから それを手にする際,携帯の際,お口へ運んだ際,その 余韻を楽しむ際 の、極上の幸福感を感じることができるのかもしれないと感じます。そういうアイテム、あってもいいと。:)チョコレートミント、リピ100%です!

体調崩した。リピートはないです。
まず辛くて舌が痺れました。ミント味というよりハッカ味みたい。お腹も壊してしまった。。何か身体に合わない刺激的成分が入っているのかなぁ。。スライド式の箱は綺麗です。子供さんには与えないほうが良いと想う。リピはないです。。
