Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker,ACEKOOL Portable Wireless Outdoor Speaker Bass Radiator(IPX6 Water Resistant,20-Hour Play Time, Build-in Mic)

I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker for traveling use. After many times of store visiting, I could not make decision because all these branded expensive choices. So I decide to find a budget one from Amazon to give it a try. The ACEKOOL one seems no difference than the others on the market. It does look smaller than I expected from the website picture after received it. The sound quality was good despite its small size. I think there is not much difference from those in store display. The entire speaker looks sturdy. The only reason I can not give it full five stars was because after I opened the box, the "-" button was loose freely in the box and I have to snap it back in the place. After that everything worked smoothly.

I'll start off by saying I'm not an audiophile but this was replacing another cheap speaker. I wasn't expecting the best sound quality, but it really ended up impressing me. The sounds is very good, I even took a call on it as while I was testing music I happen to get a call. The mic pickup wasn't bad. The other person didn't complain. The "waterproof" build quality is very good too. The device is very sturdy and seems like it can live after some abuse. I don't personally get my devices near water so the term waterproof to me is more in case it ever has contact with water.

Comparing this to a JBL I can say the unit is loud, while holding the sound undistorted, and the bass is deep enough to fill the sound but not enough to feel a thump. It can not hit the low notes like a JBL so keep that in mind. The battery life I found fell short of promised results lasting 10-11 hours at averagely high volumes but the 4 stars are based off construction of the unit, looks of the unit, and overall sound. If you want a JBL sound then spend more for the JBL unit. If you want good sound, cool waterproof design, and less of a hit on your pocket than this is your pal.

Best thing about this speaker is its twenty watts of power that easily fill a ten by forty foot room, and that is quite loud in an open outdoor space, too! That is the most power i have found in this type of portable bluetooth speaker. It also has decent bass, comparable to the best of this kind of speaker. In my opinion it is a little exaggerated to say this “great” bass. It is not bose-quality, but to my amateur ears, it sounds well balanced across frequencies.

I have this setup as a dedicated computer speaker, and it does its job well! A+ for its price to performance ratio!

Wow amazing sound super bass nice design I just hope to last for a long time

Won't hold anymore than about 3-4 hours of charge, but the sound quality is decent. Not exactly what I expected, but ok for the cost I guess.
