ZERLA Adjustable Mandoline Slicer, Grater & Julienne Slicer Cutter for Vegetable, Fruit and Onion

I ordered this mandoline because there are no separate pieces to get misplaced. The blades rotate and are adjustable for slicing, julienne and wave cuts. This is what I have been looking for in a mandoline slicer. There is no container, but to save storage space I did not think that was important. I also did not need a glove as another unnecessary item but must remember to go slow on slicing. So far it seems sturdy, with the metal face. I made perfect waffle cuts on a potato, and used an air fryer to make perfect waffle fries. I tried cutting a carrot without any difficulty or strain on the mandoline. The instructions could be a little more comprehensive but you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure things out.The clean up was easy as well, but of course but need to be careful around the blades, they are sharp.So far I am impressed that a manufacturer actually put some thought behind their product and made it affordable with quality. All great attibutes, but rarely found.

We use it to do 4.5 mm Julienne strips for carrots and cucumbers. Very convenient, although carrot is a bit hard to push through. Save us lots of time. Easy to clean.

I could have purchased something like this at a thrift store. Product isn't sturdy and now I can't even get the blade to stay "seated" so its no good to me!

Sharp, solid and very well designed. No need to swap out separate blades and debris doesn’t get caught in places, including stored blades. It’s comparable to mandolins with which I was very pleased at >2x the price.The annoyance when using, and why not 5 stars, is that the slice thickness scale is not on top where it can be easily seen. Actually, it’s very difficult to see what the thickness is when using and tends to frustrate and slow the process. Simply adding the markings and indicator where visible from above would solve this

Once you get the hang of switching the blades by turning the side crank, it's super easy to use. This cuts nice, making it way easier for consistent sized slices. The slicing surface is nice and wide unlike a lot of the other slicers out there.

Used this for the first time to make a cucumber/onion salad. I had to sit down with the machine and study the instructions for use but it was easy. The cucumbersand onions came out perfectly and speedy fast. I used to slice by hand never archiving the thinness i wanted. Very satisfied with this new kitchen gadget.

Bought this because I didn't want multiple blades to store. The dial lets you choose the thickness of the slice without inserting another size blade. Just two pieces to store: the slicer and the safety pusher. Allows for Julienne and regular slices. Good product.

I love this device. It not only slices, but does two forms of julienne cuts -thick and thin.It is very easy to switch modes on the slicer, simply turn a knob on the side to switch from standard slicing, to thin cut julienne to thick cut.Cleaning is a snap with blades that pop out and are easily cleaned. It comes with a hand held device that holds the vegetable you are slicing. This help tremendously with preventing cut fingers.In the ultimate test I was able to use the thin cut julienne to dice celery. This really sold it for me!!!
