For me, the fit is great. I wear a 10, and this shoe does have a slim profile visually, but the fit is fine. When I opened the box, they looked too narrow. I was concerned that I'd be sending them back. But when I put them on, they were fine, so I think they are a little bit deceiving visually.It just so happened that in my size and color I wanted (patent taupe), they were on sale for only $14 when I bought them. This was the primary factor in my purchase. They have a bit of a vintage 50's classy look with the patent (shiny) leather, which was what I was searching for when I found these. I wasn't really looking for taupe, but for the price I knew that I could fit them effortlessly into my wardrobe.

I was a little disappointed with these, only because the last SoftStyle shoes I owned were SO incredibly comfortable--I remember being to wear them all day. Like to work all day and even buzzing around the house afterward... but when I wear these to work, I find myself tempted to slip them off mid-day and walk to the copier in my stocking feet. I know my feet aren't as young as they were when I owned my last pair, perhaps that's the issue... but geez... doesn't seem like a couple years should make that big a difference?

The shoes look good, heel height is good, toe width is good, but the middle part of the shoe and the heel are too wide. The shoe slides up and down in the heel area sometimes even causing me to stumble. I have tried heel inserts in the past and found they do not work. I will have to come up with some other options to keep the shoe from falling off when walking. I purchase other shoes in wide and do not have this problem with the heel width.

Very nice pair of shoes with a classic look and design. I have slim feet and usually buy size 8. I got size 8 of these and they fit well, although a bit too long. Better get a slightly larger size and use shoe soles like I did than having them too tight and irreparable.

After reading the reviews posted, I order a half size smaller than I normally wear. Even so, the shoes are still at least a whole size too large. I really like the look and quality of the shoes, but will return for a refund.

These shoes were slightly wider than I expected but comfortable for standing as long as I don't have to walk for long distances since they are loose. I plan to purchase some padded no shoe footie hose to help eliminate some of this issue. They are very pretty and match almost anything in my closet.

Classy looking, the heel heigh was perfect, the heel itself is very comfortable and sustainable to walk on, BUT, even though I ordered my usual 6M when I tried them they were falling off my feet (like walking on slippers) and I had to return them. Size 5-1/2 next time???

Not bad for the price. Fit just right...I wear a size 10 and ordered a size 10. Probably wouldn't want to wear them if I was walking all day, but for a few hours they were fine.
