Found the right screws (not provided in this mount) for the vortex. UPDATE even with locktight the mount will not stay tight on my .40 glock. Maybe it would work on a .22cal or airsoft

Was able to mount my new Viper site with no problem with this adapter. We will see if it has longevity of use...
