Hosea: The Heart and Holiness of God

One of the most powerful books I have read, gave me such clarity and the Spirit in me bears witness! This book is to be read of those seeking the deeper life in Christ and willing and desiring to lay their life down for Him, not just in thought or metal accent, but in truth in spirit, living His will out in reality! <3 Dare to dive into His Kingdom! Be ready to repent and turn to Him like never before, no matter how mature we think we are! Let us humble ourselves and admit to the Lord Jesus Christ that we dont know Him the way we think we do, nor do we live often in truth the sermons that we preach. May our testimonies and declarations be true, in word and deed! For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in POWER which can only come through a consecrated like, surrendered in Him...walking in the Spirit. May our lives start to live that which we claim to believe! <3

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Campbell-Morgan. Everything he wrote speaks to me on a deep level. He seems to be able to say more in one paragraph than many of the modern writers say in a whole book. He has tremendous insight into scripture, but he is a little bit heady.

This is the first book of G. Campbell Morgan's that I have read, and half way through the book, I ordered 2 more of his books and am eager to read them. That should tell you what I think about this man's materials. Simple yet profound. He was a man who studied much, and was able to communicate what he learned in a very straight forward manner, which is both easy to follow, but spiritually challenging at the same time. Not only has my understanding of the Bible increased, but more importantly, my love for God Himself.

Easy to understand. I was blessed, encouraged and challenged by G Campbell Morgan.

Several chapters in this commentary are simply excellent.I appreciate G Campbell and his 'take' on Hosea. Having just studied Esther again, I came to the conclusion that Gomer was also the bride and that although she went a different route through the process of becoming THE Bride - she made it!This commentary portrays God's intense love for us, His Bride and how we devastate Him with chasing after other 'lovers'. Totally enjoyed studying and teaching from this commentary.

I have just finished this book. It brings new lines of ideas. it is moving and inspiring if you take time to read it and think about it.G. Campbell Morgan is one of the great bible teachers. His exposition his thoughts ought to be appreciated and he deserve more recognition for his work.james poh

This has been a great book to read along side Hosea. It isn't a verse by verse explanation but G. Campbell Morgan does a great job of exposition.

One of the best books I have ever read. Let me see God's incredible live in a fuller way than ever before.

In this short prophecy the prophet himself experiences in his own life the Divine message to Israel which is the tragedy of the faithful God being related to the unfaithful wife in this case his own people.

Well-written exegesis by a man devoted to the careful study of God’s Word.
