 If you are looking for a high-tech budget smartphone with long battery power, plenty of storage, huge RAM space, decent quality photos and videos , a unique design that attract plenty of attention, then this HOMTOM HT70 is your answer.This 300g chunky phone comes in a smart black box together with all the necessary accessories - charger, protective silicone case, a USB cable, screen protector, transducer with a 3.5mm audio jack, typeC port and OTG cable.The highlight of this phone must be its huge 10000mAh battery, which can also work as a powerbank. My husband used the phone for 3 days with full swing of social medias, calls, whatsapp and messages, youtube videos, there’s still some battery left after all that. He also occasionally played PUBG during that time.The 4G RAM processor has huge capacity allowing multitasking performance at acceptably fast speed.Its 6 inch screen display comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protective glass is a par standard for today’s smartphones. The screen’s pixel and resolution is acceptably good and live well in a budget smartphone range.The biometric fingerprint reader is surprisingly very sensitive. Except it might be placed at a quite awkward position, a little bit too close to the camera lenses. I find that the lack of the 3.5mm audio jack is not very convenient. Even though it comes with its own adapter for that purpose, it would be easier to have one built-in.Another thing, it can get a little bit hot when the game are continuously played. No problem with watching movies or watching YouTube videos.In conclusion, this is not a typical smartphone that you see everyday. And I believe it’s not for everyone’s liking. As with any smartphones, there will always be some pros and cons. For me, this phone meets my needs perfectly hence it’s a 5 stars from me, at least, for now. Should I encounter any problems in the future, I will update the review accordingly.

I pick up the unit with my left hand and many times I hold with the on/off button. This needs to be moved on the unit.

 I am one of those people that spent several hours each week on busses and trains to and from work. On my daily commute I love playing some graphically demanding games or watching YouTube videos but by the time I am at work the battery of my previous phone was already at 60%.Charging the phone at work is also often difficult and during the day I use it extensively to make and receive calls on my work number made possible by the dual sim arrangement. By the evening I was often ending up with a nearly flat battery.Thanks to this new Homtom beast my issues are now over!The phone is overall really nice, quick and responsive. For under £200 this jewel of a phone has really well balance features that allow me to play games, shoot pictures and video or listening at my favourite music and YouTube footage with ease and with excellent results.But surely the best feature is the massive battery. Yes the phone is quite bulky and at about 350 grams it is surely heavier than most, but personally I do not mind at all and I am pleased to compromise on the weight to be able to benefit from a phone that even with intense use does last me 2 full days between charges. This phone is so remarkable that can even be used as a power bank for other devices!I find the design and style really good and especially love the back cover that gives the phone a much premier look than the price would suggest.The fingerprint reader is positioned beside the cameras instead of the more convenient location at the bottom of it and occasionally I still miss it. However the more I get used to it and the less I miss it.With a humongous battery, dual Sim, well balanced features and fantastic screen, if you do not mind the weight, this phone is truly recommended.
