I usually buy premium sunflower hearts from rspb. Last time I decided to buy these, I was really pleased so I bought some more last week, I have just opened them to feed the birds and find bits of other seeds mixed in, not too much but enough to cause things to grow under the feeders. I have mobility problems and found mixed seeds resulted in lots of plants/weeds growing under feeders and in other parts of the garden which is difficult for me to control so I stick to sunflower hearts. I’m afraid i’ll be going back to rspb.

Would have given more stars but had to pick out peanuts from the sunflower seeds as they blocked the feeder. In total 358g of the sunflower seeds were peanuts.
