Good Value DMX Controller
Pretty powerful, but takes a lot of time up front getting everything programmed and setup. It's not exactly intuitive or easy to use, but with the manual I was able to figure it out.

It's stupid cheap. You get what you pay for, buy something nicer
Noticeable delay between moving a fader and response from a fixture. It is definitely a problem with the board. Works fine otherwise, work flow is a little weird and the midi function is hit and miss. If you're using it to set static looks it will work fine. Otherwise I would pass on this board.

Good for the money
I have this thing, and have used it for a couple of years now. Very easy to program, and once you start, very easy to copy your program, edit, etc. What's "not that great" is that you can't save the program anywhere, so let's assume you spend a week programming a great big light show and then somebody runs over the controller. Pow, all your work is gone. You start over. I would far prefer to back that thing up and be able to buy a new controller. I'm going to move to a PC based light show (software) because I have too many fixtures. I outgrew my Elation controller. However, it's been a real good experience.

Significant Delay vs the "Pro" version
While this unit does what it says, there is a significant delay between when you use the sliders and the command being sent out to the lights. I compared this right next to the 'pro' version, which has zero delay, and this version feels worthless. The delay between what you do on the sliders and what happens to the light is absolutely atrocious... and my test rig only used 1 light linked directly to the board (I can't imagine how bad it is with MANY lights).

simple and on sale.
first i want to say look at the price. second this is not a product for more complicated light shows as it does not have a save point after you program a coplicated light setting. i use this at my church to light up the stage with muliple lights and i love it. now if you want a kiss concert spend the $1000 plus on the equipment. it is a simple setup but i make it work well.

One Star
Doesn't seem to remember programming when unplugged - not much use for a mobile dj

Response time.......... now
We bought this as a replacement to what came with our lights. The response time of the board is at least 3-5 seconds slower than what I do on it. If I could go back to the old one I would. don't buy this unless you want to predict when to do things. Also doesn't keep it's programmed scenes.

Okay for what its worth.
Cheap DMX controller. you get what you pay for. when selecting the fixture then turning the fader up or down you have to be very patient as there is a major delay in moving the fader to the fixtures responding.
