first, check out the instructions in the picture - that is all you get! no parts list, & lock body? which is that? and there's a cotter pin you need to put on the outside part - see that anywhere in the picture? this was INCREDIBLY difficult to install, took us 3 1/2 hours because we had to undo it when it didn't work, then we had to guess about what went where and what was first.when we finally got it installed, the instructions for entering a code are ridiculous. we tried several things, and suddenly one of them worked. the instruction says it will flash....but they mean a beep. they need a new translator.and lastly, did you know that there is nothing on the inside to lock the door? it is automatically locked when you shut it, likewise when you go out, you have to hope your code works to get back in.AND the outside handle does nothing until you put in the correct code. we were hoping to get a lock that was useable with a key; forget that. you would have to have the tiny allen wrench with you in order to take off the handle and then you can use the key.TERRIBLE DESIGN, TERRIBLE INSTRUCTION (OR LACK OF) AND TERRIBLE FUNCTIONALITY.if we hadn't taken everything out of the box and opened the parts, it would have been sent back ASAP.

We got it installed, and programmed. However, this was quite the process. The instructions are of limited use as they are clearly written by someone who does not speak English well. Took awhile and some frustration, but it finally installed and was programmed. It tells you that you have to make an admin password, but doesn’t tell you how to do it. Turns out, the first password you program is the admin password. Then you can create other passwords. You also have to let the lights on the keypad go out after programming a password to check and see if it works. Overall it gets a 3 because I’d the instructions and it’s functionality isn’t terribly intuitive but it’s okay. Does the job and looks nice.

Once I ditched the directions and installed it the way I thought it should go in, things went lots faster. Directions were garbled, and in some places completely incoherent. The lock itself works amazing, it is sturdy, reliable and looks amazing. You can program codes, key fobs and cards to make it work and that is fairly user-friendly. Just don't rely on the directions to make sense!Update: I have used this lock for 4 years. I think I have changed batteries once & added RFID keys, but other than that just used if for my main entrance to my house. The keypad is facing south and is sometimes hard to see in direct sunlight. The RFID feature is more reliable and easy to use. I live in a cold climate and this lock has not let me down in the -30*F weather. I love this lock. Great purchase!

This lock fits like no other handset. I had to modify the hole for the bolt as they made it rectangular vs round. Also had to drill a hole in the door for a pin at the top that doesn't seem to have a purpose.After all of that, it doesn't work. The directions are horrible and written in very poorly translated English.I've tried to contact the manufacturer, but am getting nowhere with it.Definitely spend a little more money to get a quality lockset, and that has some sort of customer service if things go wrong.

Terrible lock. Do not buy. Had to make many modifications to the door. Directions are worthless. Now I’m stuck with having to figure this out because I’ve drilled holes in my door.

This lock is impossible to program. The instructions are very poor. There is no tech-support over the phone. I had to find my own YouTube video and I got the lock working and the next day it’s no longer working I can’t even open my door

I bought this and had to return it. It’s very hard to use. The instructions are very hard to follow. Was very disappointing, was hoping it would work out.

Impossible to set up, received in open box, can’t change password. NO RESET BUTTON, NO RESET INSTRUCTION.
