Disappointed!!
Ive had lyme disease 3 times, but love the outdoors, so I was looking for a product to give me some extra protection.. TickGuard is a very good concept, but not the best quality product. The second time in the woods, the material got snagged on a branch and made a big pull in it. They aren't bad if you just stay around the yard, but if you try to go into brushy areas, where you really need them forget it, they will get ruined quickly..

Good Solution to the Tick Problem
I got this because ticks love me - I have had two tick-borne illnesses. I love walking in the woods, but am getting nervous about that, so I bought these and some tick poison spray. The anklets looked skimpy, but they stretch as needed. It is easy to put on the cuffs and anklets. One needs to respray them every two weeks or so. It seems like a good solution.

Elastic guards are cheaply made
The black elastic guards for the legs and arms started unraveling after I used them once. They are not a good quality of material.

TickGuard Rocks!!
This stuff is fantastic and works extremely well! I keep a set with me in my truck and also carry them with me in my backpack when I go hiking or camping. I almost never even get ticks on me anymore, and if I do, I have literally seen them fall off and die within seconds of getting onto the Permethrin treated TickGuard leg gaiters, straps, or the fabric belt! Thndr Mntn (Thunder Mountain) hit a home run with this product. Way to go and thanks!
