Rumí is wonderful in any published form,but it is perfectly positioned in this little book of poems. Gave it to a friend and she loved it!

A lovely book to give as a gift or to start your love for Rumi. My favorite part of this series is the Farsi poetry written on the left-hand side. As a Farsi student, this is really important and very beautiful to look at!

These short snippets of Rumi's great work are just so rich in meaning that sometimes it is the best way to absorb atleast some of the gems of great wisdom.I love the work of the translators Maryam Malfi & Azima Kolin. They bring a feminine energy to the translations. A lot of the so called translations of Rumi in English have been merely interpretations done by non Farsi speaking writers. This is never as sucsessful as when done by someone proficient in both languages.Also, to translate Rumi the person really must understand the teachings of Sufism before they even begin.These translators can do all this and more... The beautiful choice of words touch the heart intimately. Rumi's eternal wisdom comes alive and the Beloved feels ever so close while I read and dream..Nurjahan in Australia

I was a bit nervouse of the title not knowing what the translators would do with his poems that often talk about love of the beloved. I was quite pleasently suprised at how beautiful and true to form they were. Out of all the Rumi books I have read this one is one of my favorites.

He is one of the greatest poets from the Middle East..Great summer reading!

This is a succinct translation that helps the gravity of these poems settle in with force.

Bought this as a gift. The cover was a bit creased, but I didn't have time to dispute it. It wasn't horrible and my friend was happy. All's well that ends well, I suppose.

A very nice book of short Rumi quatrains, presented in heartfelt, approachable language. I highly recommend it for easy pick-up Rumi inspiration.

It is a wonderful Coffee Table Book. I'll just flip a few pages and read. The poems are short and very profound.

Fast delivery and the book is in fantastic condition. It's such a fantastic little collection of poetry - I read it really quickly as the poems are only short, but the translations were excellent and the poems really do speak to the heart. There is a reason Rumi is my favourite poet.

Great poems, yet the fonts and Persian calligraphy could have been better.
