Telfer Snap and Strain Clip On Silicone Snap Strainer & Colander, Fits all Pots and Bowls (Grey)

I was originally very excited about this strainer. I researched it on amazon and it looked like it would be a great addition to my kitchen. Unfortunately when I took it out of the box to attach to my pot, it did not work. The clip on the left side clipped onto the pot, like shown in the instructions, but the right side clip did not work. It would not open fully to latch onto my pot. I was determined to get it working, so I tried to jiggle the clip, but to no avail did it open more so it could clip onto my pot. I’m disappointed with the strain clip. The idea is great, but it was unable to execute when needed. I could order a second and hope to have better luck with both right and left clip but I’m not in the mood to go through the return process again.

I am split between using this strainer vs using my regular stainless steel one. The thing I like about this strainer is that it's easier to clean but sometimes it's easier just to pour into a metal strainer. However, the fact that this folds up easily and if it's a smaller volume of food, I tend to use this since it's pretty convenient. However, I wouldn't replace the traditional strainer as both is good.

pretty sturdy, solid clips that haven't slipped off yet and fits well on the pots i need to use it on. i've used it several times now from stock pots to strain pasta to large skillets to drain burger grease just fine.

The strainer is such a good idea. My friend really likes it and is even considering getting a few as christmas gifts for her friends.

It’s difficult to use it does not stay on pot and that’s very difficult since you are trying to pour hot liquid.

I bought this product for straining grease when cooking meat (ground beef, etc.) and it worked like a charm! Honestly even better than I expected! The clips stayed tight to the pan and the grease flowed right through. Also came clean in the dishwasher without issue. Highly highly recommend, especially to reduce dripping grease mess when pouring.
