I have ordered this beeswax twice now, and I'm very happy with it. I was troubled the first time that I used it b/c the package didn't say 'Organic' on it when it arrived. I did use it to make lotion bars, lip balms, and healing salve, but I felt I couldn't label them as 100% organic b/c the package was lacking the word itself. When it was used up and time for reorder I emailed Silk Road asking if they could give me tangible evidence of their organic certification. Someone from their office emailed me back promptly and then sent a copy of their organic certification. I was really impressed that their office had concern for my inquiry! I ordered the same wax again, and now there is a small product label that says it's organic, but the plastic package it comes in lacks the word 'organic'. My only thought is that they're using old packaging so it doesn't go to waste. I do recommend this beeswax, and if you are skeptical about whether it's organic, simply email Silk Road and they'll send you a copy of their certification. :)

I made lip balm for my friends "Spa for a Day" Christmas gift this year. It was very easy to use. I loved the fact that it was white so it wouldn't discolor the lip balm. I wanted all natural ingredients in my items and having this be organic was a large plus. It was packaged well for shipment with no damage to the bag. You can't go wrong with this. When I run out, I will be back for more!!!!

I previously purchased an organic block of beeswax from another company. I thought the quality of this one wasn't as good and it had a more smoky scent. It also seemed like the pellets took longer to melt. But it was definitely easier than trying to grate up the beeswax into more manageable, measurable portions. Not sure I'll buy this again though...

Yeah the smell was smokey but it went away when I made my candles (soy and beeswax 2:1)Not bad

Got the sealed bag but it is only labeled as natural, with no mention of organic. Be anxious to hear from anyone else if theirs was labeled organic.

I've used this quite a lot so far, the wax has not given me any odor that I read some people complain about.So far Im very happy with the product and would gladly purchase more when needed

I use this beeswax as an ingredient in lotion bars and found it to be of good quality. It melted easily and did not have an offensive smell. I would recommend it.
