I've had this cap for about 2 years now, within 6 mos the band had snapped, I contacted the actual company not Amazon and they sent me a replacement in exchange for the defective one. A+ customer service! I have 4c hair and sometimes get my hair straightened, I have tested this shower cap in a sauna and of course showering. My edges got a little wet but the rest of my hair was dry. Over time with trial and error my edges havent gotten as wet. My only hiccup with the cap is the smell, when letting it air dry it seems to never dry completely and have a mildew like smell. I would wash it and low heat dry and its back to normal. Overall it's better than the cheap plastic ones you see in the store and does a better job keeping it dry.

It fits my mid-length hair perfectly and the fabric is lightwight and very quiet in the shower. Plus, the crystal in front is beautiful.Just well-made and elegant - never seen anything else like it. Luxurious. Gives me a whole bunch of holiday shopping ideas!
