## Questions & Answers

**Q: What are the dimensions?**
A: Many people have given the wrong dimensions for MPA-07 RACK IT UP Accessory Shelf Pot Rack. The actual dimensions are as stated in the description 14W X 7D X 16 H. I think the confusion is that some are giving dimensions for a similar product but I just received it and these are the true dimensions :)

**Q: does this come with pot hooks**
A: Yes, it comes with 8 hooks - 4 with top and bottom hooks in the same plane and 4 with hooks 90 degrees to each other.

**Q: i want to store several cast iron frying pans on this - will it take the weight?**
A: I think so. Depends what you mean by "several." They advertise up to 200lb, I think. I believe them. The attachments to the wall are pretty substantial and we put several pots and pans onto much like you see in the picture on Amazon, plus lids and other items on the shelf area. If you don't want to worry about finding studs and drilling into them, this is the way to go.

**Q: Does this item come in black?**
A: It's a gray powder coat finish. Goes well with stainless or black appliances.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value for high quality product.

I LOVE THIS WALL RACK. We removed a cabinet during our kitchen remodel, and needed to find an alternate way to store pots and pans to make up for this loss of storage space. This rack is functional and yet pleasing to the eye. It is fairly easy to put together prior to mounting on the wall - though if you are not as crafty, you may need an additional set of hands to hold parts in place while you screw things together. The most difficult part of this purchase is actually mounting it to the wall - not because it is a difficult task, but because you really want to take the time to do your measurements - have a tape measure and level on hand to ensure that your rack will be hung correctly, because the drywall anchors are extremely difficult to remove (past experience). However, once you have your measurements marked, holes drilled, and drywall anchors in place, it is very easy to hang. I would guess total time - including putting the rack together, measuring, and installing - took about 40 minutes for my boyfriend and I to hang the rack. To give you an idea of what it can hold, we have a standard set of Teflon pots and pans (5 skillets in varying sizes, 3 pots in various sizes, and 1 large stockpot). We have hung all of the pots and skillets on the rack, and then the stockpot and lids are on the shelf above. I highly recommend this wall rack if you are looking for something to maximize storage in your kitchen but don't want a rack that hangs from your ceiling. In addition, I will also say that the company shipped this product extremely quickly - they sent the rack in a different box with a note inside that said they didn't want to delay my shipment because they didn't have the right box. That is excellent customer service, in my opinion. The directions were clear and easy to read. All parts were included, including pieces to mount to drywall AND to wall studs. I appreciate the extra pieces to make sure we had everything we needed to hang the rack. Five stars, thank you so much for a great product.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A little bit of a pain, but not really. Just make sure to read instructions VERY carefully and fully!

I've seen reviews where people say how hard this thing is to install, but if you're handy at all, it's not hard. If you're not handy at all, it's still not that hard. All you need is a drill (mini hand one or big one, both work), a 1/2 drill bit, and a 5/16 drill bit. I didn't even have a 1/2 inch bit and just used a 1/4, sawing out the hole until the toggler fit through. It came with the Allen wrenches needed and all other parts were included. I recommend getting a few extra togglers (the piece that goes into the wall through the 1/2 inch holes so studs aren't needed). I got them at Ace Hardware for $1.49 each and needed the extra 2 as I broke the first two trying to force them too much. You can get more at toggler dot com (it's the SNAPTOGGLE) or other hardware stores as well.Make sure to measure out the distance between the holes EXACTLY as they say and use a pencil on the wall. Also, make sure to use a level to get it nice and straight. Your wall would need to have at least 25 inches or so or horizontal space so the pans/etc have some room and don't bounce against the wall. When hanging, make sure to account for the 2 inch long hooks and the length of the pots/pans so you have enough vertical clearance. It's sturdy, well made, and minimalistic. It only took about 30 minutes to hang, having all the tools needed. I recommend this product. Just make sure to follow the instructions to a T and you won't have a problem.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty Good Option

UPDATE: Ignore my comments about my photo, Amazon not allowing pics to be uploaded for this product, sorry.I wanted to get my pots and pans out of the cabinets where they were driving me crazy. Every time I would open the cabinet door, out spilled pans, lids, etc. So, after a good bit of 'e'research, I narrowed our selection down to this item. Its pretty small, I think its 24" wide and not very deep, so if you are expecting to get everything in their 'stock' photo on the rack, it will take some careful staging. Instead, expect to get about 5 to 7 pots/pans on the rack comfortably. Hopefully the photo of my install will help shed a little reality on how this actually works. In my case, as you can see from my pic, I had little space to install a rack, so, this fit. Plus, I only wanted the pieces of our pot/pan set on the wall, so again, gaining the most space wasn't my primary objective. The lids in my pic may seem to be hanging a bit, but, I assure you, they are stable, I just had to experiment with the best placement. I will say that one of the included toggle bolts failed to work during my install. You can get replacement toggles that will fit their included bolts from Lowes (It even tells you in the manual). I was not happy, but, shame on me for not test fitting all the parts before assembly. You can't expect complete quality products these days. That said, I did pick up the 1/4" "Toggler" brand toggle bolt replacements and continued with the install the next day. I did some testing, the rack, once properly installed, will hold what I pictured probably 4 times over or more. Certainly if you set out to put something on it that will cause it to fail, you can, but, for pots and pans its solid. * Iam not crazy about the rack, it is probably the flimsiest piece, but, once its placed with items on it, well, it works. I considered cutting my own shelf from wood and painting it just so it will look a bit better, but, for now the 'grated' rack is in place and holding with no problem. The key is to install properly. READ the directions once, twice, three times all the way through, then follow the picture of the assembled rack. It is not the easiest to line up, assemble or level (Leveling is tricky if you do not assemble it solid, and I mean once you have it assembled, tighten it...a lot). The included hex wrenches are ok at best, they don't seem to fit the bolts quite exact and this caused the hex wrench to slip some, so, you may want to use your own if you have them. I HIGHLY recommend you are either an advanced DIY'er or have 2 people to install. Once you drill the 1/2" holes for the toggle bolts (I used 2 since I was unable to use/'hit' a stud), you are pretty much committed to either completing the install or repairing your wall. That said, be sure you are comfortable with an advanced assembly, proper use of a level, drill and keep a bar of soap nearby for your mouth ; ) I will say again, once properly installed, this is a solid rack, albeit small, which is what I needed, it is solid. I have no doubt it will hold what ever cook-ware I hang or place on it. Best of luck.
